PlayStation Plus users have voiced their displeasure towards Sony due to a recent update that they find contentious. It’s worth noting that PlayStation Plus offers three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. Out of these, only the Premium tier provides access to a growing collection of games from PS3, PS2, PS1, and PSP systems. This library of retro PlayStation games is a significant draw for subscribers, with Sony usually expanding and refreshing it by adding at least two new titles every month. However, in May, there was only one addition to the library, which has left users feeling disappointed.
This month’s free game offered through PlayStation Plus Premium is Battle Engine Aquila, an uncommon title from the PS2 in 2003. For many PlayStation enthusiasts, this choice seems rather lackluster, and it doesn’t help that there are no other PS Plus Premium games available this month, making the situation even more disappointing.
Consequently, PS Plus subscribers on the PlayStation Plus Reddit forum, as well as other platforms, have expressed dissatisfaction over their subscriptions, with some even contemplating cancellation due to their discontent.
