As a passionate Path of Exile (POE) player with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement as I embark on this new journey in the latest update – Kingsmarch League. The opportunity to run my very own town and unlock the Shipping feature is an intriguing addition to the game!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been given the opportunity to manage Kingsmarch as a member of the Settlers of Kalguur league in POE (Path of Exile)! As I embark on this new endeavor, I’ll gain access to the Shipping feature once I send my initial shipment.
With shipping, you can exchange some of your newly acquired resources for other valuable items such as equipment, Runes, or currencies. Just set up the Shipping dock in Kingsmarch to get started!
As an excited player of Path of Exile (POE), I’m here to walk you through the process of sending your inaugural shipment in the game’s most recent update, step by step.
How to Send First Shipment | Kingsmarch Shipping
To initiate your initial shipment in POE, it’s essential to construct the Shipping dock first. Kindly note that you can build it in Kingsmarch, specifically near Tujen, which is located on the southeastern side of the area.
After constructing the dock, make your way to the administrative building situated in the north of Kingsmarch. Have a conversation with Raulf there. Choose “Town Recruitment” during your discussion.
As a passionate fan, I’d like to share with you an effective way of identifying and hiring Sailors in the game. You will come across them with a distinctive “ship-shaped icon” beside their names. Much like Miners, the number accompanying this icon signifies their rank. Higher-ranked Sailors work more efficiently but demand greater compensation.
After bringing on a sailor, make your way back to Tujen close to the pier and have a conversation with him. During this chat, don’t forget to select the “Shipping” option.
You can now define your shipment on the top left part of the Shipping interface. Add Sailors to your Crew and add Kingsmarch-exclusive resources to the Shipment. Do note that adding more resources will increase the ship’s Risk, which is denoted by the gauge next to Shipment. You can lower Risk by having a full crew and hiring high-rank Sailors.
After preparing your shipment, please click the “Select Port” button and choose any convenient port as an option. For your initial shipment, you’re limited to choosing Riben Fell. There’s no need to stress over this decision.
As a seasoned maritime trader with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but be impressed by this new Shipping mechanic in Path of Exile. Previously, setting sail was an uncertain endeavor, with no clear indication of how long the journey would take or what the sailors’ wages would be. But now, with the introduction of this feature, I feel like I have a much better grasp of what to expect. The transparency is refreshing and adds a layer of realism that I appreciate. So, when I’m ready to send my first Kingsmarch shipment, I’ll click on “Set Sail” with confidence, knowing that I’ve made an informed decision based on reliable information. This new mechanic is a game-changer for me and adds a level of excitement and strategy that was previously missing from the trading experience in Path of Exile.
