Pokemon Go Gives Out Free Max Raid Particles to Celebrate the Arrival of Max Battles

As a veteran gamer with countless hours spent catching ’em all, let me say that the latest update in Pokemon Go, Max Battles, has me absolutely thrilled! The addition of Dynamax Pokemon to the fray is a game-changer, and I can’t wait to get my hands on these titans.

Today marked Max Battles debut in Pokemon Go, where players can engage in intense battles utilizing Dynamax Pokemon. To take part in these clashes, gamers initially need to secure Max Particles, which can be procured from locations on the map termed Power Spots. Niantic is offering a helping hand by providing a special code that grants 250 Max Particles for free. This code, LJRAMRU3RYCMC, can be input at the Pokemon Go web store, easily accessible via this link. Upon successful redemption, players will receive an in-game notification.

Max Particles aren’t limited to participating in Max Battles. They are also essential for training Dynamax Pokemon, enabling them to learn new Max Moves that can be utilized during Max Battles. Essentially, if you want to use this feature effectively, it’s beneficial to have an abundance of Max Particles!

The season for maximizing your Pokemon Go experience started this month, and it offers players a chance to acquire Dynamax Wooloo and Dynamax Skwovet by completing the “To the Max!” Special Research. Once obtained, these Pokemon are eligible for Max Battles. Currently, dynamaxed versions of the Kanto starters – Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle – can be found in one-star Max Battles. These Pokemon, along with their evolutions, have the capacity to dynamax during battles. However, please note that only certain Pokemon obtained through Special Research or Max Battles can dynamax; existing versions of these Pokemon cannot be dynamaxed.

Initially, the range of Dynamax Pokemon in Pokemon Go is limited, but there are plans for significant growth soon. For instance, during the Psychic Spectacular event next month, Beldum will be introduced in three-star Max Battles. Once captured, players can evolve it into Metang and then Metagross, who will both be capable of using Dynamax in Max Battles. Dynamax was initially introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield, which also debuted Gigantamax Pokemon. At present, we’re uncertain if Gigantamax forms will be incorporated into the game, but it seems plausible for later this season or sometime down the line.
