Pokemon Go Reveals New Max Out Season

Pokemon Go Reveals New Max Out Season

As a seasoned Pokémon Go gamer with years of battling, catching, and evolving under my belt, I must say, the latest announcement has me more than just excited – it’s got me buzzing like a Voltorb! The Max Out season, starting September 3rd, seems to be a game-changer. With Dynamax Pokémon potentially making an appearance and the hint of the Galar starters, this update is shaping up to be a powerhouse for trainers everywhere.

The upcoming season for Pokémon Go has been unveiled, titled “Max Out”. This new theme is set to start on September 3rd and conclude on December 3rd. Niantic hasn’t released extensive details about the new season yet, but a special trailer was launched this morning to give us a sneak peek. The trailer suggests that Dynamax might be incorporated into the game, following numerous hints in recent weeks. With the title of the season and these hints, it appears likely that we’ll see some involvement from these colossal Pokémon!

Apart from showcasing the Dynamax theme, the latest trailer also offers a sneak peek at the upcoming appearance of the three Galar starters: Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble. Although the Pokemon themselves aren’t completely revealed, their legs are visible in the trailer. You can watch a video highlighting this season’s theme by clicking below.

Max Out Community Day Schedule

Although we’re still gathering all the details, some aspects of the upcoming season have been disclosed already. Unlike previous seasons, there will only be three Community Day events scheduled for this season – one for each month. This implies that we won’t see any Community Day Classics; instead, it’s just standard events. The first event takes place on September 14th (Saturday) and highlights both Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta, which aligns well with the Galar-themed Max Out!

2024’s final Community Day will occur in December, following the commencement of the subsequent season. Historically, this event has showcased all Pokemon from that year’s Community Days, and it seems likely this trend will continue. So far in 2024, we’ve had events featuring Rowlet, Chansey, Litten, Bellsprout, Bounsweet, Goomy, Tynamo, with a Popplio event scheduled for the weekend. This adds up to nine of the eleven Pokemon anticipated in December’s event. Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum had their own Community Day Classic events this year, so we can expect them to appear in the December event as well.
