A recent leak on the internet unveiled a new Mega Evolution for an original Generation 1 Pokemon set to appear in the upcoming sequel to Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which is scheduled for release later this year on Nintendo Switch and its successor, Switch 2. This original Generation 1 Pokemon first appeared in both Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue games. Notably, this particular Pokemon hasn’t undergone significant changes over the years or received much attention from Game Freak.
A recent unofficial leak about Pokemon Legends: Z-A has been circulating online and has been picked up by various Pokemon news outlets such as Centro Leaks. The leak suggests that Starmie, a character not yet officially disclosed to undergo Mega Evolution by developer Game Freak, will indeed do so. However, it’s important to note that the Mega Evolution doesn’t significantly alter Starmie’s overall design.
Starmie is a unique Pokémon that combines Water and Psychic types, evolving from Staryu. This Pokémon is the final form in a two-Pokemon evolutionary line. While it may not be incredibly powerful or widely popular, its status as one of the original 151 Pokémon gives it significant recognition among fans. Moreover, it was Misty’s prominent Pokémon during the early seasons of the anime series.
