The creators, The Pokemon Company and Game Freak, have unveiled “Pokemon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Version” for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. This game is set to release towards the end of 2025.
Individuals who currently own or intend to buy the initial game for Nintendo Switch will have the option to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Version. This upgrade can be obtained by purchasing the corresponding upgrade pack from either Nintendo eShop, My Nintendo Store, or authorized retailers. Post-upgrade, the initial Switch game remains playable on your Switch console, but only the features and content of the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition can be accessed on the Nintendo Switch 2 system.
