As a lifelong Pokemon enthusiast who has been collecting pocket monsters since the days of Red and Blue, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Tera Raid event featuring Incineroar in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! Having grown up with Litten as one of my all-time favorite starter Pokemon, it’s a dream come true to see its final evolution take center stage in this epic battle.
An upcoming Tera Raid event for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has been declared, featuring the 7-star Incineroar, the fully evolved form of Litten. From later this week, keep an eye out for Incineroar at dark Tera Raid crystals. The event will be split into two parts: the first half takes place from Thursday, September 5th at 5 p.m. PT to Sunday, September 8th at 4:59 p.m. PT, while the second half starts on Thursday, September 12th at 5 p.m. PT and ends on Sunday, September 15th at 4:59 p.m. PT.
In this special Tera Raid battle, you’ll encounter an Incineroar that is both Fire and Dark type, with a Dark Tera type specifically. This Incineroar also carries the Mightiest Mark. As usual, remember that each save file can only catch one of these Incineroars; however, you are free to fight it multiple times for other rewards. Unfortunately, even if you defeat it numerous times, you won’t be able to capture another Incineroar during this event.
In the latter part of this gaming event, players will encounter Blissey in challenging 5-star Tera Raid Battles alongside Incineroar. Unlike Incineroar, which maintains a fixed Tera type during the event, Blissey can assume multiple Tera types, adding an extra layer of complexity when strategizing against it. Overcoming Blissey in these 5-star battles will reward players with Experience Candies and Tera Shards as incentives, making it a potential attraction beyond the Incineroar Raids!
Back in 2016, Incineroar debuted in the games Pokemon Sun and Moon. Being the final form of one of the starter Pokemon, Incineroar swiftly gained popularity among trainers from the Alola region. Moreover, Incineroar has made its mark in competitive Pokemon play due to its impressive stats and powerful move set. Even those who aren’t hardcore fans have come to know Incineroar thanks to its appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as one of the playable characters.
