Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Announces Serperior Tera Raid Event

As a seasoned Pokemon trainer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia as I read about this Serperior Tera Raid event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It takes me back to the good ol’ days when I was just starting out, catching Snivy in Pokemon Black and White. Back then, I never imagined that we would one day be able to catch such legendary creatures in 7-star Tera Raids!

After wrapping up the Incineroar Tera Raid event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, another exciting event has been revealed! During two distinct timeframes, Serperior will be making an appearance in 7-star Tera Raids. The first part of this event starts this week, commencing on Thursday, September 19th at 5 p.m. PT, and continuing until Sunday, September 22nd at 4:59 p.m. PT. The second segment of the event will take place the following weekend, starting from Thursday, September 26th at 5 p.m. PT and lasting through Sunday, September 29th at 4:59 p.m. PT. Notably, Serperior will have a Grass Tera type during this event.

If you haven’t managed to get Snivy yet, whether it’s through Pokemon Home or The Indigo Disk DLC, here’s your chance! The Tera Raid events in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are giving players a way to collect some of the franchise’s beloved Pokemon. Since Serperior is purely a Grass-type, it’s vulnerable to Fire, Ice, and Flying attacks. So, if you’re participating in this event, make sure to strategize accordingly.

During these Tera Raid events, it’s worth noting that you can capture a single Serperior per save file. Yet, participants are free to join the event multiple times to collect various in-game prizes like Tera Shards. The caught Serperior will bear the Mightiest Mark, which bestows the title “the Unrivaled” upon it when used in battle, should a player choose to assign it.

Fans of the Pokemon Black and White series have long hoped for a remake or fresh adventure in the Unova region. Despite years of anticipation, this dream has yet to materialize, with only Blueberry Academy offering a hint of the Unova locale. In the absence of a new game or remake, enthusiasts are left content with what they can get, and an event featuring one of the starters from the Tera Raid is all that’s available for now!
