On the other hand, players aiming to stay competitive in PvP and advance up the Ranked Match ladder appreciate a set with less power creep, making it less intense.

From my perspective as a passionate gamer, it’s frustrating when every pack feels like a necessity for the free-to-play crowd. After major updates that reshape the game metagame, quickly building a competitive deck can be a daunting task if you aren’t spending real money on additional Pack Hourglasses. It’s refreshing, however, when less defining sets are released, giving us time to accumulate new cards and tweak our existing strategies instead of having to start over each time.
