Pokemon TV Returns for Fans to Stream Their Favorite Episodes

As a lifelong Pokemon enthusiast who can recite Ash Ketchum’s journey from Pallet Town to Alola with ease, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I heard that Pokemon TV was making a comeback on YouTube! Growing up, I would always rush home after school to catch the latest episode of Pokemon, and it feels like a piece of my childhood is being restored.

Watching every episode of the Pokemon anime has become a challenge comparable to actually collecting all the Pokemon. With streaming services like Netflix, Tubi, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, and others holding various episodes, fans were hit hard when news broke that the Pokemon TV channel would shut down earlier this year. However, the good news is that the franchise is adding new content to its platform, which used to host a massive library of the series, much sooner than anticipated. Although the YouTube channel may not currently have all Pokemon episodes, a free platform for the franchise is always appreciated by Pokemon fans.

Initially, Pokemon TV started out as an online platform back in 2010, offering numerous episodes from the anime series that has accumulated more than a thousand episodes so far. Currently, it’s not possible to stream all the anime installments of this franchise on a single platform. However, we can look forward to the revival of Pokemon TV’s YouTube channel, which could potentially make this possible. The reason behind the discontinuation of the original YouTube channel in March of this year remains unclear, but this comeback is certainly exciting news for Pokemon fans across the globe.

Pokemon On The Small Screen

Despite The Pokemon Company remaining silent about the return of Pokemon TV, the associated YouTube Channel has hinted at its comeback by updating its banner. Beginning on December 6th, content such as full episodes, live streams, and compilations will be reintroduced to Pokemon TV. Though the YouTube channel has continued to exist, the addition of new material is bound to excite fans who are eager to delve back into the vast collection that still stands strong today.

Interestingly enough, earlier this summer, it was revealed that Pokemon had planned to team up with the streaming platform called FAST. In August, FAST officially declared that they would host twenty-two seasons of the Pokemon anime on their platform. Lara Ilie, Vice President at FAST, made this statement: “We’re excited to present Pokemon to our audience for the first time ever as a standalone channel. FAST is a crucial aspect of a multi-channel strategy to expand brands and engage fans globally. As a pioneer in family engagement, we can’t wait to utilize our FAST expertise to connect with the expanding Pokemon community.

Pokemon’s Anime on The Horizon

Currently, the anime community is immersed in the season called “Pokemon Horizons,” where fans journey through the realm of trainers and pocket monsters. After Ash Ketchum and Pikachu bid farewell to their leading roles following Ash’s World Championship win, fresh protagonists Liko and Roy have taken center stage in the new series. Although they won’t encounter Team Rocket in their new escapades, the malicious Explorers are causing quite a ruckus in the lives of our heroes. Fortunately, Roy and Liko can count on some significant support from the Rising Volt Tacklers, a team of trainers eager to discover more about the Pokemon in their world.

Although Ash seems to have left the anime series for now, there’s a possibility he could return someday. After his exit from the TV show, there have been subtle suggestions from executives about a potential reappearance, but the specifics of when and how are still uncertain.
