Polgyon Pictures & Scavengers Reign Studio Team-Up For New Anime

As a lifelong anime enthusiast who has spent countless hours immersed in the vibrant world of Japanese animation, this recent partnership between Titmouse Inc. and Polygon Pictures has sent my heart racing with excitement! With both studios boasting impressive resumes featuring beloved series like “Metalocalypse,” “Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence,” and “Transformers: Prime,” the prospect of what they could create together is beyond enticing. It’s like peanut butter and jelly, or Batman and Robin – a match made in animation heaven!

Anime isn’t confined to Japan anymore; other countries are also contributing with their own series. Recently, animation studios Titmouse Inc. and Polygon Pictures announced they will collaborate on upcoming projects. Details about these projects haven’t been disclosed yet, but given their past works, anime enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting updates to see what the two studios have planned for their future ventures.

If you’re not already aware, Titmouse Inc is a studio known for its work in Adult Swim series such as Metalocalypse, Super Jail, and Ballmastrz: 9009. They also worked on popular shows like Big Moth, Star Trek: Lower Decks, Tales of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Scavengers Reign for Cartoon Network, Netflix, and other networks. Currently, they’re working on the video game adaptation of Among Us. Meanwhile, Polygon Pictures is a production house famous for projects like Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence, Transformers: Prime, Tron Uprising, and many others. An exciting project they have in the pipeline is Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which recently shared a sneak peek at the D23 event.

Polygon x Titmouse

Ben Kalina, the Chief Operational Officer at Titmouse Inc., spoke about the recent merger that was announced this week. He explained, “With an increasing number of high-end CG series emerging in the adult market, such as ‘Blue Eye Samurai’ and ‘Arcane,’ we noticed that Polygon, with its CG proficiency, and Titmouse, known for our adult animated shows and distinctive perspective, would make a perfect fit. In essence, this collaboration seems destined for success in the realm of animation.”

From my perspective as a passionate fan, I’m thrilled about Jack Liang, Polygon Pictures’ Executive Vice President of International Business Development and Licensing, talking about our future collaborations. He mentioned that our creative works align culturally with what Titmouse produces, and the prospect of combining our strengths to create some jaw-dropping CG series is going to be an exhilarating experience!
