Porsha Williams is dealing with an insurmountable loss.
In a recent update, the star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” has revealed that her cousin, Yolanda “Londie” Favors (who featured in the “Family Matters” spin-off of “RHOA”), tragically passed away on August 7 at the age of 34.
“In a heartfelt Instagram post on August 12th, Porsha expressed that Londie was not just our friend, but also our sister, aunt, cousin, and so many other things. Her life was a gift, her memory is a treasure, and she’s loved in ways words can’t express, with the sadness of her absence being immeasurable.”
The 43-year-old went on to detail how her cousin’s memory will continue to live on.
Porsha went on to say, “The contributions and worth you brought during your stay here were immense. However, we understand that your essence will continue to watch over us each day, helping us navigate these challenging times and the future ahead. For this, we are forever thankful.”
In her heartfelt homage to Londie, Porsha concluded with a touching excerpt from E.A. Buccianeri’s book, “Brushstrokes of a Gadfly,” which reads, “Indeed, when all is said and done, sorrow is the payment we make for love.”
And Porsha’s Real Housewives costars were quick to send her love and express their condolences.
Cynthia Bailey, a former RHOA star, recently shared a message. She mentioned she had run into her at an event a few weeks back and gave her a warm hug. She described this person as always being kind, sweet, and overflowing with love. This individual will be deeply missed by everyone. Her sympathies and deepest condolences go out to the family during their time of grief. She is truly sorry for their loss.
Angela Oakley added, “May her soul sleep in peace.”
Meanwhile, newly returned RHOA member Phaedra Parks offered a comforting proverb.
Phaedra stated, “It’s often said that ‘only the good die young,’ but Londie surpassed goodness – she was exceptional! In her memory, I pray that God finds favor in her deeds and may you forever experience peace, wisdom, and an indescribable joy.”
