Post Trauma Delayed to 2025

Post Trauma Delayed to 2025

As a seasoned gamer with over three decades of gaming experience under my belt, I can say that I’ve seen delays before, but this one hits differently. Having lived through the early days of Resident Evil and countless other survival horror classics, the anticipation for Post Trauma has been palpable. However, upon reading Roberto’s tweet, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of understanding and appreciation for the developer’s commitment to quality.

Red Soul Games has postponed the release of “Post Trauma” until 2025. Originally scheduled to debut on October 29th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, this psychological horror game required a tough call from its developers. In an announcement via Twitter, they explained that the decision wasn’t made lightly and expressed understanding for any disappoitment it may cause.

However, it doesn’t think the title is in the state “it deserves to be just yet, and we want to ensure the first experience players have with Post Trauma is a special one.” Some of the issues it’s currently looking at are adjusting the difficulty curve, polishing, bug fixes, etc.

Instead of delivering patches to include elements that “we believe should have been included at launch,” it chooses not to. The team is also working diligently to ensure consistency in quality between console and PC versions, a task made difficult due to the team’s size. However, they remain dedicated to providing a high-quality product. Keep an eye out for updates on the new release date in the upcoming months.

In a nod to classic survival horror games such as the early installments of “Resident Evil,” Post Trauma has been crafted using Unreal Engine 5. The game features static camera angles reminiscent of those found in such titles, and follows the story of Roman, a character who experiences a panic attack and is subsequently trapped in a dreadful realm filled with various horrors.

Hello everyone,

I have some bittersweet news to share, sad because I want to get the game in your hands as soon as possible but good because I know this is the best thing for the game.

Please take a look at the full statement below.
