The traditional-style survival horror game “Post Trauma” has a new release date, set for March 31st across Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. A free demo of the game is currently available on PC through Steam Next Fest. Take a look at the latest trailer showcasing some of the terrifying experiences players will encounter below.
The narrative revolves around Roman, a train conductor, who experiences a debilitating panic attack and stumbles upon a chilling alternate reality teeming with grotesque creatures. As is customary in horror gameplay, players must unravel the mystery, either engaging in combat using melee weapons and guns against the horrors or opting to flee.
Built entirely from scratch on Unreal Engine 5, the game “Post Trauma” adopts fixed camera angles similar to the original “Resident Evil” and “Silent Hill”. Red Soul Games hints at employing traditional methods like a pen and paper for jotting down potential clues.
The demonstration starts right off the bat, showcasing the puzzles and some fighting scenes, which makes it perfect for giving it a test run before purchasing.
