The unexpected smash hit “PowerWash Simulator,” a game where you clean grime-filled and unsavory surroundings with a power washer, has no business being as popular as it is, but now that it’s here, the developers at FuturLab are taking advantage of its well-deserved success. They’ve announced a sequel, and it’s on its way.
In the upcoming release of PowerWash Simulator 2, players can anticipate a fresh campaign, diverse environments to explore, an expanded selection of tools for cleaning tasks, as well as additional gameplay elements for increased enjoyment. The developers have mentioned that visual improvements are also planned. Excitingly, cooperative play has been verified, and unlike the original, it will offer local split-screen co-op mode too. You can watch the announcement trailer here for a sneak peek.
Different from the initial game that was released by Square Enix, PowerWash Simulator will be independently published by FuturLab. The developer has also indicated a significant amount of post-release support, which is not unexpected considering the wealth of content added to the original game since its debut in 2022.
PowerWash Simulator 2 will release sometime later this year for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
