Prince William & Kate Middleton Send Widow a Letter After Husband Dies

As a devoted royal enthusiast, I find myself deeply moved by this heartwarming story of Prince William and Kate Middleton reaching out to a grieving family. It is not every day that we get to witness such genuine expressions of compassion from our beloved royals.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are expressing their condolences.

Following the demise of 47-year-old Welsh pizza vendor Peter Morris, who had the chance to meet the Prince and Princess of Wales at his Little Dragon Pizza Van during their visit last year, these royals extended their sympathy to his wife Tracey through a heartfelt letter, as reported by TopMob News.

“In a letter, Prince William expressed his and Catherine’s profound sorrow upon learning about the passing of Pete. He conveyed their deepest sympathies and admitted that they could hardly imagine the void left in your life. The royal couple fondly remembered their time spent with Pete.” (Kensington Palace stationary was used for the letter, as reported by The Sun)

The 42-year-old individual, who is a parent to Prince George (age 11), Princess Charlotte (age 9), and Prince Louis (age 6) along with Kate, emphasized the significant influence that Peter had on his professional endeavors.

“It’s clear that Pete was deeply committed and greatly appreciated within our community, as shown by the outpouring of responses following his passing,” William added. “I trust that you find solace in knowing the positive influence he had on countless individuals.”

In the midst of understanding that my letter may not provide all the comfort needed, I wanted to make it clear that you and your family are deeply in ours during these challenging times.

40-year-old Tracey, who has two daughters aged 8 and 5 (from her late spouse), conveyed the heartfelt appreciation her family felt towards the thoughtful act.

She shared with The Sun in a recent interview that it was an incredibly shocking revelation. She further mentioned her intention to preserve the note, expressing her bewilderment over how they discovered Pete had passed away, as we’d received numerous letters about him, but the one from William and Kate stood out as particularly meaningful.

In 2016, Peter established his business. Prior to that, he had the opportunity to meet members of the royal family. This happened in April 2023, when the couple, as reported by the BBC, bought 12 pizzas for the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team during their visit to Brecon Beacons National Park. They were bringing these pizzas as a gesture of support, while touring the park.

Reflecting on that significant instance, I, as a connoisseur of lifestyle, found it profoundly moving. The entrepreneur in question once shared with the world, “Preparing pizza for the future monarch and royal consort was simply surreal.”
