As a seasoned observer and admirer of the royal family, it is truly fascinating to witness the myriad of events that unfold within their lives. From the historic abdication of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark to the joyous arrival of Balthazar Felix Karl, Prince of Luxembourg, each event presents a unique glimpse into the rich tapestry of their lives.

The British royal family will be missing two more members this Christmas.

This year, my daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, who I share with my ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, won’t be joining us for the holidays at King Charles III’s Sandringham estate, as reported by several sources.

Instead, it’s reported that Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, as well as Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, will likely spend this holiday season with their respective in-laws’ families. This would be a rare occasion, being the second time in the last ten years they have not attended the family’s traditional Christmas celebration together.

The Duke and Duchess of York, who are the parents of the princesses, won’t be attending the royals’ Christmas celebrations because they declined an invitation from the king. Instead, they plan to spend the day at Royal Lodge, according to various news reports. This decision comes after Andrew has been under scrutiny due to rumors about his links to a suspected Chinese spy.

As an ardent admirer, I eagerly await to discover how my beloved royals, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle – who last celebrated Christmas at Sandringham in 2018 – will celebrate the festive season amidst Harry’s ongoing family feud with his father and brother, Prince William.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say: Despite the bustle of the holiday season, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have managed to keep their festive spirits high. They’ve recently unveiled a heartfelt holiday card, adorned with a lovely collection of images, such as a precious candid shot of their little ones, Archie, aged 5, and Lilibet, who is 3 years old.

In the image, Harry, sporting a green long-sleeved shirt and jeans, kneeled on a paved driveway to hug his daughter. Meanwhile, Meghan, choosing a white blouse, prepared to welcome baby Archie into her arms. With all four family members and their dogs nearby.

“We wish you a very happy holiday season,” the card read, “and a joyful new year.”

During a December 4 gathering in New York, the Duchess of Sussex playfully quashed rumors about marital strife by humorously remarking, “It seems we’ve gone through divorce around ten to twelve times.
