On a particular day, Michael described spending the afternoon swimming with Lisa. At some point during their swim, Lisa held onto him while he playfully lifted her up and down.

In her memoir, Lisa first claimed that Michael supposedly made an inappropriate gesture towards her, which took place when she was asleep in bed. She explained that she “awoke to discover him kneeling beside my bed, tracing his finger up my leg beneath the sheets. If I stirred, he would stop – so I intentionally moved.
Lisa also detailed a second disturbing interaction which allegedly occurred when she was 10.
In her writing, Lisa described an encounter where “He told me he would explain what would happen to me as I grew older.” She added that during the conversation, he was touching her chest and saying a man would touch certain areas. He also placed his hand between her legs and mentioned other areas he said would be touched. According to her account, he gave her a gentle kiss before leaving that evening.
As reported by Lisa, following her sharing the incident with her, Priscilla hurriedly entered her room, shutting the door forcefully. Later on, she summoned Lisa and mentioned that Edwards desired to express his apologies.
During his apology, Lisa mentioned that the actor who played Mommie Dearest explained his actions by referring to his experience abroad. He told Lisa, “I’m really sorry, but in Europe, they teach children this way, so that’s what I was doing.
Lisa, however, claimed the abuse continued.
