As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must admit, the latest announcement of Ananta has piqued my interest significantly. Having traversed countless electric cities in games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch Dogs, I’m eager to explore Nova, an open-world that promises a unique blend of action RPG elements.
Last year, Project Mugen was unveiled by NetEase, and this week they’ve officially announced the title for their upcoming open-world action RPG – Ananta. Set to release on PS5, iOS, PC, and Android, a fresh trailer will be released on December 4th at 6 PM PT. Take a peek at the recent teaser video below, showcasing one of the characters leisurely enjoying themselves amidst various calamities.
In the city of Nova, an electric metropolis, players take on the role of an A.C.D. Agent as Ananta. The nature of their assignment remains a mystery, but it hints at a coexistence between humans and “Chaos.” Last year’s unveiling suggested diverse Espers, which might be the characters utilized in battle or urban myths that have come to life. Players must skillfully probe the Chaos and safeguard humanity’s existence.
As a gamer, I’m excited to jump into the action of this upcoming open-world RPG where I can drive vehicles on the streets, unlike many other free-to-play games out there, such as Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves. Plus, there’s even some web-slinging fun akin to Spider-Man, allowing me to traverse massive skyscrapers! If you’re interested, pre-registrations are now open on the official website. Keep an eye out for more updates when the next trailer for Ananta drops.
