Kaizen Game Works has unveiled the lead voice actors for their unique title “Promise Mascot Agency,” an open-world mascot management crime drama. Notable voices joining the cast include Takaya Kuroda, known for his role in Yakuza, who will play the protagonist Michi, and industry veterans such as Shuhei Yoshida, former head of indies at Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Hidetaka “Swery65” Suehiro, president of White Owls, Inc.
The list of confirmed voice actors include:
- Michi (Protagonist) (voiced by Takaya Kuroda) – known for Kazuma Kiryu in the Yakuza / Like a Dragon series
- Pinky (voiced by Ayano Shibuya) – known for Purah in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Matriarch Shimazu (voiced by Eri Saito) – known for Chainsaw Man, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and Way of the Samurai 3
- MonouGe (voiced by Shuhei Yoshida) – former Sony Interactive Entertainment head of indies
- Kannushi-kun (voiced by Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro) – head of White Owls, Inc.

In a forgotten (and undeniably cursed) Japanese town called Kaso-Machi, Takaya Kuroda lends his voice to the disgraced former yakuza, Michi, who has been banished there with two main objectives: settle his debts and revive the dormant mascot agency of the town. Along the way, he enlists the aid of an unusual assistant manager – a severed finger – and Pinky☆, a chaotic goblin voiced by Ayana Shibuya, to help him recruit eccentric mascots, arrange their contracts, and assign them jobs that they are passionate about.
The “Promise Mascot Agency” game is scheduled to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and both Steam and the Epic Games Store for PC in the year 2025.
