Travis explained on his New Heights podcast on July 26th that he felt let down because she doesn’t speak before or after her performances since she needs to preserve her voice for the 44 songs she sings. Consequently, he missed the opportunity to give her one of the bracelets he had made for her.
Following an on-stage slip-up, which Travis would later characterize as “completely off,” he bravely asked the Grammy winner out for a game at Arrowhead Stadium, inviting him to watch the Chiefs play.
He expressed on The Pat McAfee Show, “I suggested it, I passed the responsibility to her by throwing the ball,” he said. “I told her, ‘You’ve put on great shows at Arrowhead Stadium before, maybe you could come watch me perform there and see who has the more electrifying show.’ So, we’ll wait and find out what unfolds in the upcoming days.
Travis sported a mustache that he grew during August’s training camp for the first time when he met Taylor.
Later on, he remarked about that period, “For a while, that mustache and the number 87 jersey were quite iconic, and I happened to have them when I first encountered Taylor.
According to a reliable source familiar with the matter, by early September, Travis and Taylor had been exchanging messages occasionally and engaging in sporadic conversations.
