PS Plus Essential Games for March 2025 Includes Some Massive Names

Sony has announced the upcoming lineup of games for PS Plus Essential subscribers in March 2025. As usual, there are three games for both PS5 and PS4 systems to enjoy, which will be accessible for download starting from March 4th.

The offering is as follows:

  • Dragon Age: The Veilguard (PS5) | Review
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection (PS5, PS4) | Review
  • Sonic Colors: Ultimate (PS4) | Review

This may go down as one of the most shocking PS Plus updates in history, to be honest.

The battle struggles of Dragon Age: The Veilguard have been extensively reported, yet it was released just around four months ago, and surprisingly, it’s now available in Sony’s most affordable subscription level. To be honest, we’ve cross-checked the information from the platform holder multiple times, and we’re still a bit stunned by this fact, but it appears to be accurate.

In simpler terms, according to our 8/10 review, BioWare’s newest release is an excellent game. Our fantasy enthusiast, Robert Ramsey, described it as a stunning and captivating journey filled with lovable protagonists and intricately crafted antagonists.

In our 8 out of 10 review, we found the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection to be exceptionally impressive, using the term “awesome” to express our admiration for it.

Reviewer Scott McCrae stated that not every game in this collection is a success, as many are versions of others, but there’s still plenty to appreciate. This compilation brings two iconic beat-’em-ups from history onto contemporary platforms and also houses some lesser-known treasures like Radical Rescue.

This month, the title with the most noticeable shortcomings is Sonic Colors: Ultimate – a remaster that’s generally solid, given it’s based on a game that has been fondly remembered by many.

11-year-old Sonic game titled “This” is a unique experience, but keep in mind its imperfections before diving into the adventure, remarked Stephen Tailby, an enthusiast of anthropomorphic creatures, in his 6 out of 10 review.
