Sony announced today that it has expanded its collection of Temporary Game Trials accessible via PS Plus Premium, offering top-tier subscribers on PS5 a free demo of LEGO Horizon Adventures for one hour. With this trial, members can experience the game by playing through several levels and examining the hub world as soon as they launch it.
After its debut, the LEGO version of Horizon Zero Dawn has received relatively little attention following a rather mediocre response from critics. To date, Sony hasn’t disclosed any sales figures for the game on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, or PC.
In our review of the LEGO Horizon Adventures for PS5, we gave it a score of 6 out of 10. We noted that on one side, this is an endearing and child-friendly adaptation of Sony’s well-known series, effectively transferring the narrative, characters, and combat into the LEGO world, with a genuine visual appeal to add. However, after the initial excitement wears off, the level design can feel empty and repetitive, seldom challenging you with the type of platforming or problem-solving games of this genre typically offer.
