PS Plus Re-Release Bags Much Better Trophy List

As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Sony, in an effort to revive underappreciated titles, has brought back the colossal kaiju brawler, War of the Monsters, on both PS5 and PS4. This is all part of their enhanced push for PS Plus Premium, where classic games find a new life!

Initially, you could find this game on the PlayStation Store. However, it has been moved to the company’s latest emulator, offering several benefits such as quick save and rewind functions.

Additionally, there’s a brand new Trophy collection, culminating in a long-awaited Platinum trophy. The number of trophies for the arena fighter has increased from 18 to 21, with the distinctive silver-blue trophy being the highlight of the update.

This time around, obtaining all the awards is more straightforward: most of the trophies are earned by completing the campaign, and there’s much less need for repetitive tasks compared to before. A key point to remember is that cheats won’t assist you in this edition because they deactivate the trophies, so it’s something to bear in mind.

If you’ve previously played the game, you likely won’t need more than three to four hours to collect all the gongs, particularly when making good use of the rewind and save state functions.

Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that the fresh addition from external sources, Alone in the Dark 2, offers Trophies too, such as a Platinum Trophy. This gives players ample motivation to re-engage with these vintage titles.
