2025 saw the most action-packed release schedule during March, making it the most active month thus far. Consequently, it’s not shocking to find newcomers dominating the PlayStation Store’s sales rankings recently.
It’s not surprising that Assassin’s Creed: Shadows has performed exceptionally well on its own, considering the wide popularity of the brand. In fact, Ubisoft’s open-world adventure secured the top spot in Europe, and was second only to MLB The Show 25 in North America.
The baseball sim didn’t even break the top 20 in Europe — but that’s not exactly a surprise either!
In the month of March, Split Fiction emerged as another significant victor, securing third place in North America and second place in Europe. It’s noteworthy that this cooperative game allows players to enjoy it without both needing to own a copy, which adds to the awe-inspiring nature of its high rankings on the charts.
In other regions, Monster Hunter Wilds continued its impressive performance, debuting towards the end of February. It managed to claim the fourth position in both North America and Europe.
In terms of games that made a splash last month, WWE 2K25 secured a spot among the top ten, while The First Berserker: Khazan performed well enough to appear in both regions. Conversely, Bleach: Rebirth of Souls ranked 16th in North America and didn’t qualify for the rankings in Europe.
