The highly-anticipated PS4 exclusive title has permanently ceased operation. This game, which was one of the last exclusives for the PS4, debuted in 2019, just before the launch of the PS5. In 2021, a version of this game became available on Nintendo Switch, but exclusively in Japan. In 2024, sales and operation of that version ceased, making it an exclusive title for the PS4 once more. Now, due to its absence from all platforms, it can be considered a non-exclusive game since it’s no longer playable or purchasable on any system. Unfortunately, this means that PlayStation 4 users can neither acquire nor enjoy the game in any way.
2019 PS4 gamers would recall that Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding was the most notable exclusive title for the console. A sequel to this game is coming up shortly. Another significant exclusive from that year was Days Gone. Compared to these two, lesser-known releases like Dreams and Concrete Genie were also launched, but nothing else managed to make a similar impact.
Among the lesser-known exclusive titles for PlayStation 4, one was Caravan Stories, developed by Aiming. This free-to-play fantasy RPG managed to find a following in Asia, but unfortunately didn’t garner much interest in the western market. Now, the chance to explore it has passed.

Unfortunately, we’ve come to realize that we can no longer maintain a service level that meets our standards. Consequently, we regret to inform you that we are discontinuing this service. We extend our heartfelt thanks for your loyalty and ask for your understanding in this difficult decision.
Regretfully, it seems highly improbable that Caravan Stories will reappear on PlayStation platforms, not even in a digital or physical format. While some games manage to persist after a shutdown as collectibles through physical release, Caravan Stories was initially distributed only digitally, making its reemergence less likely.
