To alleviate any concerns about the absence of updates regarding Ghost of Yotei, which was initially unveiled last year, a recent social media update assures us that the PS5-exclusive game remains on track for its anticipated (though somewhat unspecific) 2025 launch.
This announcement originates from Andrew Goldfarb, the communication lead at Sucker Punch Studios. He is encouraging potential applicants by emphasizing that they can assist in the release of Ghost of Yōtei this year.
Indeed, everyone’s curious about when we can expect the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. Just like always, Sony keeps its first-party projects under wraps, but if Yotei is indeed coming within the next nine months or so, it might need to be reintroduced fairly quickly.
Essentially, we’re betting on some sort of explosive event happening during summer, followed by a release date towards the end of the year. However, given that PlayStation moves rather swiftly in terms of marketing and product launches, an unexpected reveal at Yotei and a summer launch aren’t entirely out of the question.
What’s your estimate for when the Ghost of Yotei might be unveiled? Stand by with your sword (katana) at the ready in the comment section beneath this post.
