FrogWares, a developer from Ukraine, successfully utilized crowdfunding in the past, and now they are returning to this platform for The Sinking City 2 project.
Similar to how the remake of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is utilizing the gathered funds for completing its successor, it seems they’ll soon unveil a major development update, expected within this week.
On March 6th, we’ll unveil our Kickstarter campaign. The team is excitedly assuring us that it’s going to be a massive success, offering fantastic reward options for backers, unique community gatherings, and lots of unexpected treats throughout!
It appears that there will indeed be both Physical Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition variants of the game, exclusive to Kickstarter backers.

Did you know? The initial game encountered a lengthy legal dispute with its publisher, Nacon. In the end, the Ukrainian studio prevailed in court and secured exclusive rights to distribute the game on every platform. As a result, they are now independently publishing the sequel.
