Sony has sneakily added a new payment option to PS Store on PS5, and it’s good news for iOS users.
Apple Pay is now available to use for purchases from PlayStation’s digital storefront.
Those with iOS/iPadOS 18 or later will be able to take advantage of the new feature.
Instead of PS Store, when purchasing an item using Apple Pay, the system will display a special code on-screen that you can scan with your device’s camera for verification.
Click on the provided link, and you will be guided to authenticate the transaction using either Face ID or Touch ID when making a payment with your current Apple Pay card.
As a gamer, I prefer having additional choices, and using my device’s ID verification system feels safer than saving a card directly on my PSN account.
Would you plan to utilize the latest payment option for your PlayStation Store transactions on PS5? Let us know in the comment area beneath.
