PS5 Pro is on Track for 2024 Release – Rumour

As a dedicated PlayStation fan with years of experience following the latest news and rumors surrounding Sony’s console releases, I’ve been eagerly awaiting any updates regarding the long-awaited PS5 Pro. The anticipation for this enhanced version of the PS5 has been building steadily since the beginning of the year, with many believing that we would see an official announcement in September.

For several months, there have been numerous rumors and leaks about a new version of the PS5, called the PS5 Pro, which was supposedly coming out in September. But as we’ve passed the halfway mark of the year and haven’t received any official announcement from Sony about this console, doubts are starting to arise if the PS5 Pro will even be released in 2021.

Based on information from Tom Henderson, a journalist known for his reports on Insider Gaming about upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro, there is no confirmation of any delay in its release. Some sources have expressed concerns, but according to Henderson, documents he’s seen suggest that the PS5 Pro will still come out this year.

According to reports, developers received development kits around springtime. The initial round of console certifications for the PlayStation 5 is scheduled to be submitted to Sony on July 30. It’s been stated that as of September 15, every game intended for a PS5 launch must include PS5 Pro compatibility.

The duration is yet undetermined until Sony formally unveils the console, but considering the company’s return to Tokyo Game Show in September after an extended absence, it’s plausible that the PS5 Pro will play a significant role during the exhibition.
