As a dedicated PS5 gamer, I’m always excited when new system software updates roll out, and this latest one is no exception! The ability to invite others to my gaming sessions using URLs is going to make things so much more convenient. I can just share the link with friends or even random players who might be interested in joining, all without having to manually enter usernames or deal with complicated invites. And since it’s for open sessions only, I know that anyone who joins will be there for a good time and not cause any trouble.
Sony has released a fresh update for the PS5’s system software, bringing new functionalities. Among these additions are the ability to send invitations to gaming sessions by inputting URLs, set to become accessible for all users starting July 24th.
For open sessions, the procedure is straightforward: Access the Action Card for that specific session, select “Share Link,” use your device to scan the provided QR code, and distribute the link to others. Keep in mind, anyone with the link can attend since it’s open, so exercise caution.
I’m thrilled about the latest addition to Game Help – Voice Command! In my experience, it’s still in preview mode and only accessible for English US and UK PSN users. Yet, being able to say “Show Game Help” and have the appropriate Action Cards appear is a game-changer for me.
In an upgrade to Version 24.05-09.60.00, we’ve made enhancements not only to messages but also to performance and stability – a longstanding priority.
