In 2020 alone, we were blessed with an astonishing array of games that would make any gamer’s heart skip a beat. 2020 saw PlayStation gamers on both PS4 and PS5 enjoying an impressive array of titles, including Call of Duty: Warzone, Persona 5 Royal, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part 2, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Demon’s Souls, Dreams, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, Pistol Whip, DOOM Eternal, Mortal Kombat 11, Spelunky 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Streets of Rage 4, Genshin Impact, and Fall Guys. This year was particularly rich in high-quality releases compared to recent years. Now, PlayStation users are being offered a new free game from 2020, which is also available for PS4 users.
Back in 2020, I stumbled upon a lesser-known gem – FuzzBall from Shadow Lair Games. It might not have been as monumental as the other releases that year, but it certainly caught my attention. Initially, this game was only accessible if you purchased it, but luckily for us gamers, it’s now completely free on PS5!
Experience the game as one out of six adorable FuzzBall stuffed animals, which transform into puffs of fluff to navigate levels and knock opponents off seven distinct stages. The FuzzBall game includes three different gameplay modes designed for local multiplayer: Party Mode, Versus Mode, and Adjustable Ball (Flexiball). These modes support 1 to 4 players, making it a fun social activity on the couch!
In essence, FuzzBall doesn’t have an end, so there’s no time limit for finishing the game. However, collecting all the trophies might take a couple of hours. But remember, completing the game implies something more than just gathering trophies. As long as PlayStation enthusiasts continue to enjoy this party game, it offers endless content hours.
