It’s a big weekend for fighting game fans, and not just because Evo Japan is currently ongoing.
SEGA has unveiled a special event called ‘Virtua Fighter Direct’, where they will share updates about the upcoming Virtua Fighter game that was previously announced. Essentially, this means we’ll have a chance to see more details about the new Virtua Fighter game that was revealed last year.
The live stream is scheduled for YouTube at 7 am Pacific Time, 9 am Eastern Time, and 2 pm British Summer Time on Sunday, the 11th of May. That’s right, it’s happening this coming Sunday!
So far, we haven’t had much exposure to the latest Virtua Fighter. We caught a quick glimpse of it way back in January through a concept video, but we anticipate more detailed gameplay clips are on the horizon. Hopefully, we’ll get to see some of these this weekend.
Are you excited about RGG Studio’s continuation of this iconic fighting game series? Begin brainstorming your best combo moves in the comments area underneath.
