SEGA has unveiled “Puyo Puyo Tetris 2” for Nintendo Switch 2, set to release concurrently with the console on June 5th.

Get ready, it’s time for an epic clash between two globally acclaimed action-puzzle games on the horizon for the Nintendo Switch 2!

In this new edition, the popular duo of Puyo Puyo and Tetris is returning, brimming with content from Puyo Puyo Tetris 2. This time around, there are a total of 12 unique play modes for both Puyo Puyo and Tetris enthusiasts. Additionally, the game presents an exciting new feature called Puyo Tetris Doubles, which allows two players to collaborate in a single board setup. In this mode, they can strategize together, organizing, stacking, and linking both Puyo pairs and Tetriminos as they descend.

Locally seated viewers can now engage with their Joy-Con 2 controllers, using them to gesture towards the players’ boards and offer encouragement or participate more actively in the gameplay!

Not only can you enjoy playing games like Puyo Puyo and Tetris on your own, but they also offer multiplayer options, supporting up to four players in both competitive and cooperative gameplay modes. Why not connect online and challenge players worldwide?
