Starting August 26, the role-playing game “Quartet” will be released for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, as well as for Mac and Linux systems. This release will be followed by launches on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch towards the end of 2025. The creators, Something Classic, have made a demo available to the public now.

Story
As an avid reader, I’ve found myself immersed in the intriguing tapestry of Quartet, a realm where myriad tales intertwine. A string of train heists hints at a hidden government plot, while a peculiar deck of cards bestows a young girl with visions of another world. The horizon scorches under the relentless passage of airships, their deadly intent marking the Imperial border. Amidst it all, an unexpected champion emerges, wielding powers beyond belief.
The tales converge in this fantastical land, and as the story unfolds, the heroes will unearth secrets that have shaped our world for centuries. They’ll unravel a clandestine conflict that has literally reshaped reality. And finally, they’ll face a momentous choice: to decide the fate of magic itself.
Combat
8 characters engage in successive battles against adversaries in a system where each character takes their turn sequentially. A player can simultaneously field four characters, and at will, substitute any of these active characters with a reserve one. Substituted characters are immediately ready to act. While characters reside in the reserves, they continuously recover their Action Points (AP), granting strategically adept players the opportunity to consistently attack enemies with an uninterrupted barrage from their most potent attacks.
