Quinton Aaron is looking on the bright side.
The actor who played Michael Oher, the former NFL offensive lineman, in the film “The Blind Side,” is currently hospitalized after being admitted on February 27 due to a fever and a cough with blood. Despite his current condition, he remains hopeful, expressing optimism that he will recover quickly, as reported by TMZ on March 4.
After his hospitalization, a 40-year-old individual has reportedly been examined by doctors at a Southern California medical facility. He believes he might have Type A flu and pneumonia, and he’s also had a prolonged migraine for several days.
Aaron additionally shared that he’s been given a course of antibiotics, thankfully no longer expelling blood from his cough. He also voiced optimism about being discharged from the hospital following the insertion of a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC), a device used for delivering antibiotics and medications directly into the bloodstream, as per the Mayo Clinic.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m sharing some updates regarding Aaron’s health journey. Recently, he shared that his condition is showing signs of improvement. However, it’s important to note that this isn’t the first time health issues have caused him to miss an engagement in Southern California – all due to illness. In fact, back in 2019, he was hospitalized because of an upper respiratory infection and a severe bronchitis flare-up.
He told TMZ that he had been unwell for a few months prior, and no matter what he tried, his condition persisted.
He was ultimately able to make a full recovery after his release from the hospital.
In simpler terms, Aaron stated in a now-removed Instagram post that he was leaving, everything was fine, and he planned to take his medication. He then expressed his intention to return home for a rest since he hadn’t been able to sleep due to people entering his room at odd hours.
