R. Kelly Accuses Prison Officials of Murder Plot, Says He’s In Danger

R. Kelly is requesting what he believes to be a life-saving measure.

The singer known for “Ignition” is requesting release from his 30-year federal prison term in North Carolina, as he claims there’s a planned assassination against him. This information comes from court documents reviewed by NBC News.

As a devoted admirer putting this into my own words, I’d say: “I’m horrified to be in R. Kelly’s shoes, knowing his life hangs in the balance, overseen by ‘guards’ and jailers sworn to ensure his safety. But now, chilling evidence has surfaced that these very individuals entrusted with his protection are not just betraying him, but soliciting his murder.” – Beau B. Brindley, in court filing.

Despite Robert Kelly vehemently denying all accusations, such as those in the 2022 Chicago sex crimes case where he was found guilty on six counts including child pornography, his legal team asserts that the alleged plan to murder him stems from alleged misconduct by Bureau of Prisons (BOP) officials.

The document stated that as Mr. Kelly’s lawyers started revealing information, prison officials allegedly sought help from another inmate to assassinate him. At least two known white supremacists affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood were reportedly approached by Bureau of Prisons officers and instructed to end Mr. Kelly’s life.

The attorney alleged that another prison authority gave the musician a warning, as well.

In the court document, the attorney stated that the prison official cautioned Mr. Kelly about potential danger, implying that Mr. Kelly should take extra care, and that it wasn’t secure for him to remain under Bureau of Prisons supervision.

Brindley added that the prison administrator warned Kelly to stay away from the dining area since there was a risk that someone might contaminate the meals served there, or even the items sold in the canteen, as a method for carrying out these lethal actions.

Due to the reported murder conspiracy involving Kelly, his defense team is petitioning for a temporary release so he can complete his current sentence under house arrest.

TopMob News contacted representatives from the Brindley Bureau of Prisons, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, but we are still waiting for their responses.
