Rachel Lindsay Celebrates New Beginnings After Divorce from Bryan Abasolo

Rachel Lindsay is watering new roses.

Following the conclusion of their year-long divorce proceedings between “The Bachelorette” alum Bryan Abasolo and his ex, Rachel, who was mandated by court order to pay Bryan a substantial amount of $500,000 as per TopMob News documents, she openly shared her current emotional state.

In an interview with TMZ at LAX on January 21st, Lindsay expressed her feelings, saying “I feel fantastic!” She added that it feels like the beginning of something new and exciting.

Previously, the host of the “Higher Learning” podcast expressed immense relief following her resolution with Abasolo, a legal issue marked by numerous exchanges over his spousal support demands. (Even though they remained cohabitants for several months post their separation in December 2023, Abasolo stated that financial difficulties were the reason.)

On her podcast, dated January 10th, she expressed, “I’m divorced, praise be to God. Let me dance to the rhythm of liberation tunes.

39-year-old [individual], who encountered Abasolo, aged 44, during the 13th season of ‘The Bachelorette’, where Lindsay was the lead actress, has expressed her opinions on the split of another former ‘Bachelor Nation’ couple, Rachael Kirkconnell and Matt James. This breakup took place four years after they met during season 25 of ‘The Bachelor’.

Reflecting on the couple’s breakup, Lindsay added to TMZ, “You never see it coming.”

To begin with, earlier this month, James took Bachelor Nation followers by surprise when he revealed their separation in a solo Instagram post dated January 16th.

As a devoted follower, I humbly plead to the Almighty: Grant Rachael and me the fortitude we need to heal our shattered hearts. bestow upon us a serenity that surpasses human comprehension about this decision to part ways in our relationship.

Meanwhile, Kirkconnell subtly hinted at being taken aback by the unexpected separation. After the parting, she started liking comments on her most recent Instagram post dated December 5th, which was a birthday homage to James.

A comment that garnered a “like” from the ex-“Bachelor” star stated, “The more I reflect, the stronger I feel he caught her off guard with this. Allow her some space to react when she’s ready.

As Lindsay rejoices over reclaiming her final rose, several Bachelor Nation relationships continue to flourish. Stick around for further developments on each couple!

After starring on the inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelor” and leaving Gerry Turner’s season prematurely, Joan Vassos later became the leading lady on the first season of “The Golden Bachelorette”. It was during this show that she encountered and became engaged to contestant Chock Chapple.

Joan expressed her optimism in life, despite any challenges they may have faced, during the November 2024 finale of “The Golden Bachelorette”. She stated, “We’re living proof that even at our age, there is still hope.” Chock then proposed to Joan in the idyllic setting of Bora Bora. “I’ve been waiting for this moment in this incredible location to tell you that I love you,” Chock declared. “I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to wake up next to you every morning, and I want to kiss you goodnight every night.

In the final episode of season 21 of “The Bachelorette,” it appeared that former contestant Jenn Tran was heading towards a joyful conclusion with her ultimate choice, Devin Strader. However, during a post-final interview in September, Jenn, aged 26, disclosed that Devin, aged 28, turned cold towards her as soon as the filming ended.

During the September 3rd episode, Jenn explained to host Jesse Palmer that the previous day, he had been making grand declarations of affection, but the next day, it was as if those feelings never existed and he denied ever being in love. She added that all the promises and love he had pledged to her were no longer present.

The story unfolded further as Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram, not only accepting responsibility but also explaining the reasons behind his decision to end the relationship during a 15-minute phone conversation.

During their phone conversation in August, Jenn asserted that he ended their relationship, while he countered by saying she pressed him about the issue, wanting to know why, as he struggled to tell her in person that things weren’t working out.

He admitted that he was unsure about any other options, implying that he had been holding back until they could discuss it face-to-face. In essence, she made the decision for him.

Ever since then, Jenn has made her way towards “Dancing with the Stars” and perhaps Sasha Farber’s heart as well. They’ve been fueling romantic speculation since their October 29th elimination.

Joey, the protagonist, proposed to project manager Kelsey Anderson in their season finale on March 2024. “I can’t wait another moment to tell you that I love you,” he confessed, before getting down on one knee. “There is something about you. Your energy is contagious and makes me smile. It’s a feeling I’ve never experienced before.”

The relationship between underwater welder John Henry Spurlock and nurse Kat Izzo, who first crossed paths during season nine of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, initially seemed to develop later on. On an occasion, Spurlock presented a Neil Lane diamond ring and stated, “I’m going to try something a little different today. I’m following my heart, and it’s telling me that you are amazing, exactly what I’ve been searching for.” However, shortly after the season finale, they announced that their paths were diverging due to conflicting career goals, expressing gratitude for the love and support they received from friends, family, and ‘Bachelor Nation’.

Although she was anxious about her upcoming commitment, Eliza Isichei (one of Clayton Echard’s past relationships) graciously agreed to Aaron Bryant’s oceanfront proposal, despite her nerves. The final episode hinted at some difficulties Eliza faced following their trip to Mexico, and eventually, they confirmed that they had called off their engagement. We’re parting ways amicably, maintaining a positive outlook and mutual respect for each other.

Nurse Kylee Russell was disappointed when boyfriend Aven Jones refused to propose – a gesture he had been reportedly ready to do while courting Bachelorette Rachel Recchia. However, she eventually agreed to Aven’s proposal on Paradise, saying “Let’s get out of here and make it work.”

This decision meant her chosen engagement dress remained unworn, as she felt compelled to do what she believed was right. She explained, “Love is about taking risks.”

Two days after their finale aired in December 2023, Kylee announced on Instagram Stories that their relationship had ended due to multiple instances of infidelity. Aven later apologized to Kylee, acknowledging his mistakes and the pain he caused her by writing, “I have made significant errors in our relationship and I hurt someone very dear to me.

Although their future happily ever after is yet to unfold—the duo mentioned they’re contemplating a 2025 or 2026 wedding—first, Charity will grace the ballroom of Dancing With the Stars. “Alright, my love,” Dotun told Charity on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose. “Since you enjoy joking around, dancing, and having a good time, you know we’ve discussed this—about how incredible this opportunity would be. And I am thrilled to share that you will be appearing on Dancing With the Stars! Darling, let’s do this!

Ah, Mom and Dad. Although they parted ways during season seven without Neil Lane diamonds, Danielle Maltby, who tragically lost her fiancé to a drug overdose prior to Nick Viall’s season, and single father Michael Allio (who shares 7-year-old son James with his late wife) seemed destined for a perfect match in Bachelor Nation.

However, a year after Danielle moved from Nashville to be with Michael in Ohio, he announced they had separated. “We both invested a great deal into this relationship and it’s truly unfortunate when things don’t work out,” Allio shared on a September 2023 episode of Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast. “When relationships don’t work out, when you realize that love is there but you’re not necessarily compatible, you grieve the loss, not only of that person and that friend in your life, but also the future that you had imagined.

Brandon Jones declared his eternal love for Serene Russell during their proposal on season seven of Paradise. However, their relationship didn’t last long; they announced their separation five months later in a joint Instagram statement. They had been struggling privately with the challenges of maintaining a relationship under public scrutiny, and the split was difficult for both parties. They requested understanding and asked for no malice.

The relationship between pilot Rachel and general contractor Tino Franco hit a roadblock when he was seen kissing another woman during their 2022 season broadcast. On “The Viall Files”, Tino admitted, “I in no way condone my actions. It was not right, it wasn’t fair to Rachel, and it continues to haunt me. I am deeply ashamed of what happened and if I could do it over a million times, I would.

However, Susie, a videographer based in Los Angeles, asserts their separation was for the best. In a November 2022 post on her blog “Susie Was Like”, she shared that those around her noticed her radiance had dimmed and she wasn’t truly flourishing. She admitted they experienced many happy moments together, but beneath the surface, she was grappling with challenges and feeling out of sync with her true self.

After dating Justin Glaze from Bachelor Nation, Susie later revealed that their relationship ended in August 2024.

The current status: Separated

Teacher Michelle from Minnesota received a Neil Lane sparkler and a $200,000 check for her future home from sales exec Nayte Olukoya (based in Texas) during their time on a reality show. However, after the finale aired in December 2021, they decided to part ways following six months of relationship.

On The Viall Files, Nayte admitted that their relationship had plenty of ups and downs, with many disagreements, arguments, and fights, ultimately not clicking or seeing eye-to-eye. He also acknowledged that not having a face-to-face conversation to finalize the split was “a dick move.”

The viewers wholeheartedly supported the idea of a future with many peaceful Sundays as proposed by Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian. However, the couple from BIP season 7 were only able to spend a few weekends together before they decided to move on separately.

In a joint statement released in January 2022, their coordinator Maurissa (who was involved with Peter Weber) and attorney Riley (one of Tayshia Adams’ suitors) declared that they have chosen to go their separate paths. They never anticipated this situation, but they have reached a point where they both need to focus on personal growth.

On the sixth season of “Bachelor in Paradise”, the show’s initial same-sex couple became engaged, however, they declared their separation on Halloween in the year 2019.

In their Instagram post, they stated that love and concern for each other have always been central to their relationship. Their focus has always been on what’s best for them as a couple. With hearts heavy but filled with love, they’ve made the difficult decision to step back from their relationship. They want what’s ultimately beneficial for both of them in the long term, and at this moment, that means growing independently.

Currently, the status is: Engaged

At present, they’re engaged.
Though Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer separated during season seven of The Bachelorette, their connection remained unbroken. They had found themselves gazing into each other’s eyes forever. Initially settling in San Diego, the travel nurse (who vied for Tayshia’s affection) and the financial manager (who received Matt James’ first impression rose) later bought a property in his hometown of Tulsa. Abigail announced her new home on Instagram in July 2023 with, “Preparing to enter our Chip and Joanna Gaines era because your girl just purchased her very first house!!!” She also expressed her anticipation for the memories they would create there. Before their relocation, Noah proposed at a San Diego oceanfront home in August 2023, hinting at some wedding plans ahead.

In a bit of pre-wedding rehearsal, Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, both former contestants on The Bachelor, decided to tie the knot in a low-key ceremony at City Hall in New York City, about a year after leaving Bachelor in Paradise as an engaged couple. They posted a video from the October 2022 event with the caption, “JUST MARRIED !!”. Although they will still be having a grand wedding in September, who wouldn’t want to get married twice?

Kenny Braasch, a boy band manager, expressed his deep affection for Mari Pepin by saying, “Mari, I am so deeply in love with you,” as he placed a Neil Lane diamond ring on her finger during the finale of Paradise in 2021. “I can’t imagine my life without you,” he added. As a result, the Maryland beauty queen, who first caught Bachelor Matt’s attention, moved to Kenny’s hometown of Chicago and started making plans for their future together. Prior to their wedding, which took place in an oceanfront ceremony with 65 guests in Puerto Rico in November 2023, they made their relationship official by getting matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share an inspiring tale that unfolded on the reality TV scene last year. Former Bachelorette Becca and Thomas Jacobs, one of Katie Thurston’s suitors, found their connection in ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ season seven. Their journey wasn’t conventional; they parted ways during the show, reunited post-production, and eventually fell head over heels for each other.

In May 2022, they made a heartwarming announcement that they were engaged, with Becca taking the leap to propose. Speaking to TopMob News, she expressed her hope that others would feel empowered to break the mold. True to her words, Thomas reciprocated that October.

Fast forward to September 2023, this loving couple welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby boy named Benson. Becca couldn’t help but express on Instagram, “Words can hardly capture the love and awe we have for this tiny miracle.”

Just weeks after bringing little Benson home, these two lovebirds decided to tie the knot in a spontaneous October 13 ceremony. Needless to say, I’m absolutely smitten by their romantic story and the beautiful family they’ve created.

In the final episode of season 17 of “The Bachelorette” in 2021, Katie became engaged to Blake Moynes. Their romantic connection deepened during their overnight date that included a paintball adventure, a cowboy-style tub soak, and a heartfelt talk under the night sky.

Bending down on a knee, Blake said to Katie, “You’re worthy of all the wonders that the world has to offer. I’m thrilled about the prospect of standing by your side and being there for you daily from now on.

Three months following the broadcast of their proposal, the pair revealed their separation. In synchronous statements, they expressed, “We deeply appreciate the precious moments we experienced together and the incredible journey that unfolded over this past year. However, after much reflection, we’ve determined that we aren’t suited as lifelong partners. It is the kindest decision for us both to progress separately.”

Now, she is set to marry comedian Jeff Arcuri.

After spending time apart following their 2021 season together (and a brief split before reconciling), Matt and graphic designer Rachael Kirkconnell have faced numerous breakup rumors. In an exclusive interview with TopMob News at a Baskin-Robbins event on July 18, Matt suggested that everyone should take a break from social media due to the constant scrutiny their lives receive online. However, he emphasized that marriage remains their ultimate goal.
In May 2022, Matt told TopMob News that the key to their relationship is taking things at their own pace and not rushing into decisions like engagement. Despite this, less than three years later, in January 2025, Matt announced on Instagram that he and Rachael had separated. He prayed for strength for both of them to heal from the breakup and asked for peace about the decision that transcends worldly understanding.
The post also included a throwback photo of them together during their time on The Bachelor.

Following her entry to take over Clare Crawley’s 2020 season of The Bachelorette, Tayshia came across and developed feelings for Zac Clark. Despite exiting the show with an engagement, Tayshia disclosed later on that their relationship had its fair share of highs and lows.

Being in a new relationship and then disappearing for a couple of weeks can be challenging, let me put it frankly and honestly,” she shared on The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast in August 2021.

Subsequently, she said, “It seemed as though we needed to recall the reasons we were together. I believe this is entirely typical.” However, in November 2021, TopMob News reported that they had decided to move on separately.

During season 16 of ‘The Bachelorette’, Clare became deeply smitten with Dale Moss. By the fourth episode itself, they were engaged. However, the surprises continued as Clare’s replacement, Tayshia, also got engaged. Interestingly, a few weeks later, Dale announced on social media that his romance with the hairdresser had ended.

Approximately a month later, whispers of reconciliation swirled around them as they were seen together. Moving on to July 2021, following multiple reunions, Clare and Dale were solidly back in each other’s lives—with a ring on her finger no less. However, just a few months later in September, they decided to part ways once more. Now, Clare is blissfully wedded to Ryan Dawkins and anticipates the arrival of their first child together.

Following a short-lived courtship with Hannah Ann Sluss and later separation from Madison Prewett, viewers were optimistic about Peter’s love life improving for a third time. Regrettably, his relationship with The Bachelor season 24’s Kelley Flanagan did not last, as the pilot announced on New Year’s Eve in 2020 that their nine-month romance had come to an end.

Although our bond held many cherished moments, unfortunately, it didn’t last, Pete shared on Instagram. ‘Kelley remains someone I hold a deep affection for.’

In 2022, the couple made another attempt at flying again, only to disclose in May of the same year that their relationship had come to an end.

Status: Split

After the emotional 2020 finale, the pair shared on Instagram that they were ending their relationship. Peter expressed, “Madi and I have decided, after much discussion, not to continue our romantic involvement. It wasn’t an easy choice for either of us, but through heartfelt conversations, we came to the agreement that this is what seems best for both of us. The affection and regard I hold for Madi will persist.

In her statement, Madi expressed that she would forever cherish and admire him. She firmly believes that their destinies were intertwined, and as a result, they have both grown for the better.

Status: Split

During season 24 of ‘The Bachelor’, Peter and Hannah Ann had a brief engagement. However, in the second part of the finale, it was disclosed that the couple encountered difficulties just a month into their exclusive relationship. More specifically, Hannah Ann was taken aback by Peter’s lingering emotions for Madison which he had not fully addressed.

She conveyed, “All I’ve truly desired was for someone to offer their entire affection as I am offering mine to them. And yet, you took away my initial engagement.” In essence, she said, “You took that from me. This is because I trusted you, and that’s what you have repeatedly asked of me: ‘Be patient with me. Have faith in me.’

Currently, their relationship status is married. After their adventurous #vanlife phase, Dean Unglert (one of Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay’s finalists) and Caelynn Miller-Keyes, who were once involved with Colton Underwood, parted ways during season six of Paradise in 2019. However, they have been inseparable since then.

In 2022, they got engaged and tied the knot at a camp-themed wedding in the Colorado mountains on September 23rd. Caelynn shared her excitement with TopMob News before the ceremony, expressing, “I just love him so much. I’m really excited to be marrying someone who is such a good person, who makes me laugh every day, even when I’m upset. I think our life together will be incredibly fun.
