Rachel Lindsay to Pay Bryan Abasolo $500,000 in Divorce Settlement

As a seasoned lifestyle guide, I’m happy to share that Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo have found resolution in their challenging journey over the past year, reaching an amicable agreement following their divorce proceedings.

On season 13 of “The Bachelorette”, these former contestants met, fell in love, and got married in 2019. However, as reported by TopMob News from court documents, they’ve now reached an agreement to end their marriage and distribute their shared possessions.

Originally mandated to pay her ex $13,000 per month in alimony, Lindsay will instead make a one-time payment of half a million dollars to Abasolo, as indicated by the court documents. Furthermore, the judgment dictates that Lindsay, who filed for divorce in January 2024 and is 44 years old, will retain the Miami residence they once shared, a 2021 Honda Accord sedan, his Breitling watch, multiple bank accounts, and various wellness-related LLCs.

Regarding Lindsay, aged 39, the attorney has confirmed that she will retain ownership of the couple’s property in North Hollywood, as well as her 2023 Porsche Macan SUV, various bank accounts, and businesses. In terms of her engagement ring and wedding band, the documents state that she is entitled to keep the jewelry.

In addition to parting ways as a couple, they will share some of their joint possessions, which include Lindsay’s stake in the Fan Controlled Football League. Also, any earnings generated from their investment in Molly’s Grape & Produce Company over the next five years will be distributed equally, as stated in the documents.

TopMob News has reached out to reps for Lindsay and Abasolo for comment but has not heard back.

After the divorce proceedings, Lindsay – who made history as the first Black lead in the Bachelor franchise – voiced her regrets for not having a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot with Abasolo.

In an interview for the “Hidden Gems” podcast in June, she explained that times were different then, and she didn’t initially bring up the topic of prenuptial agreements. Since both parties weren’t in agreement about it, she chose to avoid making it a major issue, so they didn’t end up having one.

But that doesn’t mean the reality star didn’t want one to begin with.

She continued, “Looking back now, it’s clear to see. I wish I had taken that step, something I had long desired. Yet, at that time, we simply didn’t agree on that matter.

Following her brief departure from Gerry Turner’s season on “The Golden Bachelor,” Joan Vassos went on to become the first Bachelorette in the show’s history. During this season, she met and became engaged to contestant Chock Chapple. In the finale of “The Golden Bachelorette” in November 2024, Joan expressed their story as a testament to hope, even at an advanced age, saying, “We are living proof that no matter what life throws at you, there is still hope.” The proposal took place in the stunning location of Bora Bora, where Chock confessed his love for Joan, stating, “I waited ’til this moment in this amazing location to tell you that I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to wake up next to you in the morning, and I want to kiss you when I go to bed at night.

In the finale of season 21 of The Bachelorette, it seemed like former Bachelor contestant Jenn Tran was finding her happily ever after with her final choice, Devin Strader. However, during After the Final Rose in September, Jenn, aged 26, disclosed that Devin, who is 28, turned cold towards her once the cameras stopped recording.

During the September 3rd episode, Jenn explained to host Jesse Palmer that he had been expressing passionate declarations of affection one day, only to act as if nothing had happened the next. She claimed that all the pledges and love he had expressed towards her seemed to have vanished.

The story unfolded further as Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram, not only admitting fault but also explaining his reasons for ending the relationship during a 15-minute conversation on the phone.

Instead of Jenn stating he ended their relationship over the phone in August, he said that Jenn asked him why things weren’t working out during their conversation, and he was trying to figure out how to tell her in person.

He admitted that he was unsure about other options, but added that he had been planning to inform her personally. Essentially, she made the situation such that I had no choice but to act.

After that, Jenn strolled towards the stage of Dancing with the Stars, and speculation about her relationship with Sasha Farber has persisted since their elimination on October 29th. They’ve fueled these rumors ever since.

In November 2022, Greg Grippo (a contestant on Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette the previous year) appeared alongside Victoria Fuller in the finale of Bachelor in Paradise’s eighth season. There, they publicly declared that they were together. However, in April 2024, he disclosed that their relationship had ended.

Before Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo made their relationship official during the finale of Bachelor in Paradise’s 8th season, she had previously broken off her engagement with her fellow cast member, Johnny DePhillipo.

Status: Divorced

In the exciting month of November 2023, I had the heartwarming experience of getting engaged, right during the grand finale of the first-ever Golden Bachelor. Fast forward to January 2024, my beloved partner, Theresa Nist, and I officially became husband and wife in a televised ceremony that was nothing short of magical.

However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.

During their interview on Good Morning America with Theresa in April 2024, Gerry expressed that they have had many deep conversations and carefully analyzed their circumstances, including their living situation. He went on to say that they both agree that it seems appropriate to end their marriage at this time.

They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

Status: In a Relationship
After dating 32 potential partners, tennis player Joey Graziadei finally found his ideal partner in project manager Kelsey Anderson. “I’m eager to not wait another second to express my love for you,” Joey said to his chosen one during the finale of March 2024. “There’s something about you that captivates me. You have an energy that makes me grin, and it’s a sensation I’ve never felt before.”
Envisioning forever with Kelsey, he added, “For a while, I knew I wanted a wonderful life, but I truly didn’t realize how wonderful life could be until I met you.

Though underwater welder John Henry Spurlock and nurse Kat Izzo didn’t develop feelings for each other until halfway through season nine of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, they were ready to take a chance. “I’m going to attempt something new,” he said, presenting an Ascher cut Neil Lane diamond. “Today I am following my heart. My heart tells me that you are wonderful, you are everything I have been searching for.”

However, a few days after the finale, they announced their decision to part ways. “Although our lives are taking separate paths due to our career aspirations not being compatible,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post, “we are thankful for the love and encouragement we’ve received from our families, friends, and ‘Bachelor Nation’.

State: Separated

Despite her apprehensions about an upcoming proposal in Paradise, elegantly dressed Eliza Isichei (one of Clayton Echard’s former partners) graciously agreed to Aaron Bryant’s oceanfront proposal. Touched by the software salesman’s gesture of seeking her mother’s approval, she expressed, “I couldn’t predict what words would come out of my mouth.”

The postscript of the finale hinted at some difficulties for Eliza and her marketing manager ex after their return from Mexico. A few days later, they confirmed that they had parted ways amicably, with nothing but goodwill and mutual respect for each other. He shared this update on Instagram in December 2023, stating, “Navigating these complex feelings as I watch the events unfold. We’re handling our friendly separation with only positivity and mutual admiration.

As a lifestyle guide, I’d rephrase the given text as follows:

Though postpartum nurse Kylee Russell initially found herself disappointed by Aven Jones’ reluctance to propose – an act he had reportedly been planning during his stint on ‘The Bachelorette’ – she eventually accepted Aven’s proposal on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, choosing to leave their past behind and give the relationship a chance.

This decision meant that her chosen engagement dress remained untouched, but as she put it herself: “Love is all about taking risks.”

Just two days following the December 2023 season finale, Kylee shared on her Instagram Stories that the relationship had sadly come to an end due to several instances of infidelity. Aven later publicly apologized for his actions, acknowledging that he had made significant mistakes in their relationship and caused pain to someone very dear to him.

Charity Lawson playfully shared with TopMob News her excitement about the turn of events in her life, which was later dramatically sealed by Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, proposing to her. On bended knee, he declared their love as “perfect,” asking if she would make their fairytale a reality. Despite their upcoming wedding still on the horizon (possibly in 2025 or 2026), Charity has another exciting venture planned: competing on Dancing with the Stars. During an appearance on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, Dotun excitedly told Charity, “Baby, I know you love to dance and have fun, and we’ve talked about this amazing opportunity. And guess what? You’re going to be on Dancing with the Stars! Let’s do this!

Status: Set to Wed
Zach will have his fairytale conclusion. Although there were a few mishaps during the Fantasy Suite, Zach Shallcross concluded season 27 in March 2023 on bended knee. “I am deeply in love with you,” he confessed to travel nurse Kaity Biggar. “You are my universe. The affection I feel for you surpasses anything I could have ever envisioned.”
In July 2023, the Texas-based couple took another significant stride in their relationship, as Kaity posted on Instagram, “Now officially living together.” They’re currently arranging their October 2025 wedding vows.

The status for Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who appeared on “Bachelor Nation” together, has changed from a potential couple to having split up. Despite initial promise, they parted ways after a year of being together. Michael shared his feelings about the breakup on Jason Tartick’s podcast in September 2023, stating that although they invested a lot into their relationship, it was unfortunate when things didn’t work out. He explained that when relationships don’t succeed and you realize you’re not perfectly compatible, it brings sadness not only for the loss of the person and friendship, but also for the future that once seemed possible.

Brandon Jones declared his affection for Serene Russell during their appearance on season seven of Paradise, stating that he would love her forever, even until his final breath. However, their relationship didn’t last as long as they had hoped; five months after their engagement aired, they announced their separation in a joint Instagram post in May 2023. The split was difficult for both parties, who expressed their pain and asked for understanding from the public. “We have struggled privately with our relationship amidst the challenges of being in the public eye,” they wrote. “There is still much love between us, but we are deeply hurting.

The relationship between pilot Rachel and general contractor Tino Franco hit a snag when he was seen kissing another woman during their 2022 season broadcast. On “The Viall Files”, he admitted, “I in no way condone my actions. It was not right, it wasn’t fair to Rachel, and the guilt lingers with me still. It’s something I deeply regret and if given a chance, I would change it a million times over.

The situation: Separated

Indeed, it was quite an adventure. Susie Evans, during the 2022 finale, turned down Bachelor Clayton Echard‘s proposals, but later reconciled with him off-camera…and then parted ways again six months afterwards. However, the Los Angeles videographer claims their breakup was justified. In a November 2022 post for her blog “Susie Was Like,” she stated, “Those around me could see my sparkle had faded and I wasn’t flourishing.” She admitted that they shared many happy moments, but deep down, she was grappling with difficulties and felt out of sync with the best version of herself.

After dating Justin Glaze from Bachelor Nation, Susie later confirmed that their relationship had ended as well, in August 2024.

Status: Separation

Minnesota elementary school teacher Michelle received a Neil Lane sparkler from Texas-based sales executive Nayte Olukoya, along with a $200,000 check for their future home, but the couple ultimately didn’t have a strong bond. They announced their separation six months after the season finale aired in December 2021.

On The Viall Files, Nayte admitted that there were many ups and downs, numerous arguments, fights, and they simply couldn’t see eye-to-eye. He also acknowledged that not having a final conversation about their split in person was “a selfish act.”

Michelle began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they announced their engagement the following year.

As a lifestyle expert looking back on the journey of Bachelor in Paradise season seven stars Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, I must say they painted a captivating picture of shared Sunday mornings ahead. However, their time together was limited, spanning only a handful of weekends.

In a joint statement issued in January 2022, the compassionate coordinator Maurissa (who found a connection with Peter Weber) and the diligent attorney Riley (one of Tayshia Adams’ suitors) shared their decision to part ways. They never anticipated this outcome, but they have arrived at a point where they both need to focus on personal growth.

Status: Split

The initial same-sex couple from Bachelor Nation got engaged during the sixth season of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, but they announced their separation in October 2019, which was Halloween.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: “From day one, our bond has been built upon love and nurturing each other. Our primary focus has always been about what serves us best. After much thought and with hearts heavy yet filled with love for each other, we’ve chosen to take a break from our relationship. Our goal is to seek what benefits us most in the long term, and at this moment in time, that means growing separately.

Current Status: Engaged
Translation: Still in a committed relationship
Despite parting ways during the seventh season of The Bachelor in Paradise, Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer found a lasting connection. Initially residing in San Diego, the travel nurse (who vied for Tayshia’s affection) and the financial manager (who received Matt James’ first impression rose) recently bought a home in his hometown of Tulsa.
“Preparing to enter our Chip and Joanna Gaines era because my girl just purchased her very first house!!!” Abigail wrote on Instagram in July 2023. “Excited for the start of our next chapter and all the memories we’ll create here!!” Their upcoming plans involve some wedding preparations. Prior to their relocation, Noah proposed at a beachfront San Diego home in August 2023.

In an informal and engaging style:

Status: Tied the Knot

Just like a dress rehearsal, these lovebirds thought it wise to have a trial run. With their grand wedding in September 2023 on the horizon, Serena Pitt (a finalist from Matt James’ season) and Joe Amabile (the Chicago grocery store owner who got famous after Becca Kufrin sent him packing on night one in 2018) decided to take the plunge a bit early near their New York City residence, around a year since leaving Paradise as an engaged couple.

“JUST MARRIED !!” Serena, now co-hosting the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with her husband, captioned a video from October 2022. “We’re still having our big wedding in September, but who wouldn’t want to get married twice?”

Status: Married

Kenny Braasch, a renowned boy band manager, expressed his deep affection for Mari Pepin by saying, “I am absolutely smitten by you,” as he put a stunning Neil Lane diamond ring on her finger during the 2021 finale of Paradise. “You’re an integral part of my life now and I can hardly imagine living without you.”

After their initial connection, the Maryland beauty queen relocated to Kenny’s hometown of Chicago and started planning their future together. Before their oceanfront wedding in Puerto Rico in November 2023, they made their commitment permanent by getting matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023.

Status: Married

Becca, who was once the Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs (a contestant on Katie Thurston’s season) started dating during the seventh season of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ in 2021. They split up during the show, but rekindled their relationship after filming ended. In May 2022, they announced their engagement, with Becca taking the lead to propose. As she told TopMob News, “I hope this encourages others to feel empowered and challenge traditional norms.” Thomas reciprocated this gesture in October of the same year. In September 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Benson. Becca shared on Instagram, “There aren’t enough words to express the love and admiration we have for our little man.” Just weeks after bringing Benson home, the couple decided to get married in an impromptu ceremony held on October 13th.

Status: Split

In the final episode of season 17 of ‘The Bachelorette’ in 2021, Katie ended up getting engaged to Blake Moynes. They expressed their love for each other during their overnight date that included paintballing, soaking in a cowboy tub, and a chat under the night sky.

Bending on a knee, Blake said to Katie, “You’re worthy of all the wonders life has to offer, and I can’t wait to stand by your side and help you in every way possible from now on.

Approximately three months following the broadcast of their proposal, the pair disclosed their separation. In synchronized declarations, they expressed, “We are incredibly thankful for the precious moments we experienced together and the incredible journey that unfolded throughout this year. However, we have determined that we are not ideally suited as lifelong companions, and it is the kindest decision for us to part ways individually.”

She is now betrothed to comedian Jeff Arcuri.

As an ardent admirer, let me share my perspective: Ever since Matt and graphic designer Rachael Kirkconnell parted ways following their 2021 season (only to reconcile later), there have been numerous speculations about their relationship’s demise. However, rest assured, they are still deeply smitten with each other.

In his own words, he expressed this during an exclusive interview with TopMob News at a Baskin-Robbins event on July 18: “I believe everyone should take a break from social media.” He further added, “Our lives are so intertwined with our smartphones that when someone decides to step away from their phone every now and then, it creates quite a stir, as if the world is ending.”

Marriage continues to be the ultimate goal for this L.A.-based duo. In an interview with TopMob News in 2022, the author of “First Impressions: Off Screen Conversations With a Bachelor on Race, Family, and Forgiveness” shared, “I think the beauty of our relationship is that we move at our own pace.” He continued, “You’ve seen with other couples – they rush into engagements and they’re no longer together. I believe we have a successful formula, and we will reach our destination.

Status: Split

In 2020, during Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette, Tayshia began her journey and found love with Zac Clark. Despite leaving the show engaged, Tayshia confessed at a later date that their relationship had its fair share of highs and lows.

In a new romance, it can be challenging when you need to take off for a few weeks, if you catch my drift. Let me put it plainly: This is an honest account of my situation, as I shared it on The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast in August 2021.

After that incident, it seemed as though we should recall our reasons for being together. And I believe that such a reflection is completely typical. However, by November 2021, TopMob News reported that they had chosen to part ways.

Status: Split

During season 16 of ‘The Bachelorette’, Clare became deeply smitten with Dale Moss. So much so that they got engaged by the fourth episode. However, the surprises didn’t end there. Weeks after Clare’s replacement Tayshia secured an engagement, Dale announced on social media that his love story with the hairdresser had ended.

Approximately a month later, whispers of reconciliation swirled when they were seen together. Fast forwarding to July 2021, following numerous reunions, Clare and Dale were once again an item, complete with a ring. However, in September of the same year, they decided to separate once more. Now, Clare is happily married to Ryan Dawkins and expecting their first child together.

Status: Split

Following a short-lived courtship with Hannah Ann Sluss, who won his heart, and later a breakup with runner-up Madison Prewett, fans rooted for Peter to find lasting love the third time. Unfortunately, his romantic journey with season 24’s star contestant Kelley Flanagan didn’t work out as planned. The pilot announced on New Year’s Eve in 2020 that their nine-month relationship had ended.

In his Instagram post, Pete expressed that even though our relationship was full of lovely recollections, it ultimately didn’t succeed. He stated that Kelley is someone he will forever cherish with a unique affection.

In 2022, they made another attempt at flying again, but later in May, they disclosed that their relationship had come to an end.

Status: Split

After the intense 2020 conclusion, they shared on Instagram that their romance was over. Peter put it this way: “Madi and I have chosen not to continue our relationship. This wasn’t an easy decision for either of us, but after open discussions, we realized this is the best path for both of us. The affection and regard I hold for Madi will persist.

In her remarks, Madi expressed, “I’ll always hold affection and regard for him. I firmly believe that our lives were destined to intersect, and we’ve both benefited greatly from the encounter.

Status: Split

During the 24th season of The Bachelor, Peter and Hannah Ann were engaged for a short time. Regrettably, just one month into their exclusive relationship, difficulties surfaced during the second part of the finale. More specifically, it was disclosed that Hannah Ann was taken aback by Peter’s ongoing feelings for Madison, which continued to linger after their engagement.

She said, “All along, I merely desired a reciprocal wholehearted commitment – the same I was offering. Yet, you ended my first engagement. You took it from me, for I put my trust in you, and I’ve always been asked to do so – ‘Be patient with me. Have faith in me.’

They’ve progressed significantly from their days on the road in a van. Despite parting ways during season six of “Paradise” in 2019, Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes have been inseparable since then.

In 2022, they got engaged and finally tied the knot at a wedding held in the Colorado mountains on September 23. The event had a camp theme and was filled with laughter and joy. “I simply adore him so much,” Caelynn shared with TopMob News before the ceremony. “I’m just so thrilled to be marrying someone who is such a wonderful person, who can make me laugh every day, even on my bad days. I believe our life together will be incredibly enjoyable.
