ATLUS recently unveiled fresh details and snapshots for the remastered version of “RAIDOU: The Phantom Fortress – The Soulless Army Mystery.” This reveal includes new characters such as Kenzo Satake, Sadakichi, Kiyoshi Daidouji, the Hell’s Pawns, and Red Cape. Additionally, it showcases various demons and character advancement mechanics.

■ Characters
Kenzo Satake (The face of Senju-ku)
The youthful leader of the Kanto Haguro Clan, a prominent yakuza organization, is admired not just by his fellow members, but also by the community at large due to his significant efforts in enhancing neighborhood security.
He effectively leverages his solid standing and extensive connections, and he’s knowledgeable about numerous topics related to the Capital as well. (A more concise version could be: He skillfully uses his good reputation and wide network, and is versed in various Capital-related matters.)
He appreciates Raidou’s character and works well as a team player, offering insights during case investigations.
Sadakichi (Army Deserter)
A soldier of the Army, suspected as a deserter, harbors concerns regarding a clandestine operation called the “Super Soldier Project” allegedly orchestrated by Munakata within the military ranks. As a result, he chooses to abandon his duties and service in the Army.
Instead of abandoning his post, he reaches out to a newspaper reporter named Tae, with an intention to reveal the “Super Soldier Project” to the general public.
On one side, his demeanor appears relaxed and unconcerned, yet occasionally, there are hints in his facial expressions that suggest he’s no typical individual.
Kiyoshi Daidouji
He is the younger brother of the current head of the Daidouji family and the uncle of Kaya.
He owns Daidouji Textiles, but due to lack of modernization, he’s struggling financially and teetering on the edge of bankruptcy, requiring a substantial infusion of funds.
He shows concern for Kaya, who has gone missing, but there is also a suspicious side to him…
Hell’s Pawns
The mysterious Hell’s Pawns who abducted Kaya.
With an uncommon look that hints at it, they possess formidable combat abilities beyond human standards, acting as a barrier between Raidou and his companions.
It seems they are somehow connected to the “Super Soldier Project” that Munakata is pushing.
Red Cape
A mysterious creature striking fear into the hearts of the Capital’s citizens.
It’s been observed in various places and is a topic of conversation throughout the town. Some believe it kidnaps individuals, while others claim it indiscriminately assaults them.
■ Demons
Approximately 50 new demons have been incorporated, increasing the total to more than 120! Demons that made an appearance in “Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon” and “Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance” have also been included in this updated version.

■ Game System: Character Progression
Raidou Has New Skills: Summoner Skills
In the game, Raidou has the potential to acquire fresh Summoner Skills through weapons he wields. These skills come in two categories: Combat Skills, which enhance Raidou’s fighting prowess during battles, and Sword Skills, which activate spontaneously upon being equipped. These abilities offer a range of benefits, including enhanced attacks, boosting Raidou’s durability, among others. Remember to select the right skills based on your opponents, as you can alter Raidou’s Combat Skills set during combat.
As you craft various weapon types using Sword Alchemy, your arsenal of Summoner Skills expands. Make sure to utilize Sword Alchemy regularly when you’ve gathered sufficient materials.
Customize the Special Skills of Allied Demons
Allied demons acquire two types of abilities: Active Skills that prove useful in combat situations, and Inherent Skills that activate spontaneously once equipped. These abilities can be obtained by leveling up (grinding) or by blending different demons together.
Tutorial manuals serve as guides for instructing particular abilities to your spirits. These capabilities are acquired progressively as you study various skill manuals. Spirits can achieve proficiency in these skills by repeatedly using the same skill manual, and they can even inherit these abilities through spirit mergers.
Loyalty of Allied Demons
Trustworthiness refers to how much a particular demon relies on you. As an ally demon takes part in battles, overcomes opponents, and journeys with you, their trust (loyalty) grows stronger. Once a demon’s trust is at its highest level, they will acquire a Passive Skill, gather materials essential for Sword Crafting, and receive useful items.
As a devoted Devil Summoner, the overall loyalty amassed from all your demonic companions significantly impacts your status within our realm. As you hit specific milestones with their loyalty, you’ll be bestowed with new titles and expand your roster of summonable demons. Feel free to flaunt your preferred title in-game, showcasing your unique style and prowess!
