Rainbow Six Siege 2 in Development, Features Graphics Update and Engine Overhaul – Rumor

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve noticed that many multiplayer shooters have been getting sequels for quite some time now, like Overwatch 2 and Counter-Strike 2. Now, it seems Rainbow Six Siege might be joining the ranks. Recently, a leaker named Frax hinted at Siege X, which is apparently the upcoming tenth season of the game. From what I gather, this update will bring improvements to textures and modes, along with an engine overhaul, making it even more immersive for gamers like me.

The anticipated unveiling is scheduled for the Six Invitational 2025, wrapping up on February 16th. Exactly when it might be launched remains uncertain, but Frax hinted in another tweet that Siege X could actually be referred to as Rainbow Six Siege 2, instead of Year 10 of the existing game, Siege.

The release date is rumored to be at some point beyond Year 10, Season 1, according to the source. It’s uncertain if it will supersede the current game like Counter-Strike 2 succeeded Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but keep an eye out for further information and developments.

Rainbow Six Siege is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
