It appears that Chelsea Grace, the former Outsourcing and Co-Development Leader at closed game studio Firewalk Games, may not hold a deep affection for Concord.
She’s given her memorabilia launch plaque to the American thrift store, Goodwill, allowing you a chance to possess a tiny piece of historical artifact.
This framed item showcases the game’s cover artwork, a Blu-ray disc of the PS5 version, along with a tag bearing her name and the original release date.
Two weeks following its launch, the title was removed from service due to poor sales figures, leading ultimately to the termination of the entire project.
It’s plausible that the plaque in question might be an extra, as it seems its original proprietor has no interest in it. However, the silver lining is that it’s fetching a high price of $453 at auction, with the proceeds benefiting charity unquestionably.
It’s heartening to learn that Concord continues to make a positive impact even months after its abrupt closure. Yet, there’s an undeniable sense of melancholy as well.
