The way we’ve heard or said the name ourselves doesn’t align with the creator’s preferred emphasis or intonation.
It appears that while everyone’s been praising the deliciousness of “ba-LAH-tro”, it seems Localthunk, possibly intoxicated by his newfound influence and riches, has been referring to it as “BAH-luh-trow” all this time, and likely chuckling behind his hand at our expense.
