At Elimination Chamber, WWE saw several exciting comebacks, one of which was surprisingly timed following a grueling fight between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. These erstwhile friends-turned-foes showcased their animosity in an intense match, with Owens eventually securing the victory. However, this triumph was short-lived as Owens continued his assault. The unexpected happened when Randy Orton made a sudden return to the ring, retaliating against Owens with a massive RKO. This encounter seems to be setting up a potential WrestleMania rivalry.

Throughout the intense match, Owens and Zayn relentlessly tested each other’s limits. Owens targeted Zayn’s injured neck, while Zayn aimed to inflict as much pain on Owens as he could. Both athletes endured severe blows, but neither backed down. They both managed close calls, or near falls, at different moments during the match.

At some point, Zayn violently collided Owens’ face with a chair adorned with barbed wire, followed by performing a spinebuster onto chairs bedecked with barbed wire. In retaliation, Owens forcefully thrust Zayn’s back and neck against the ring apron repeatedly, and he additionally positioned a chair on Zayn’s head before slamming him into the ring post twice in quick succession.

In the end, Owens managed to secure the win by pinning Zayn. Afterward, security escorted Owens out of the ring, but he paused on his exit to lift the mat, exposing the hard concrete beneath. He then dragged Zayn from the ring in an attempt to deliver a piledriver onto it, however, that opportunity never presented itself.

In response to Orton’s hit music and performance, Owens departed towards the ring, shouting angrily at Orton along the way. As soon as Orton entered the ring, he immediately attacked Owens, executing a fitting RKO maneuver on Owens that left the audience thrilled. Then, Orton picked up a chair and loomed over Owens, though eventually, he tossed the chair out of the ring.

Despite being interrupted, Orton wasn’t finished yet. He arranged for a rare punt kick aimed at Owens, but security intervened and escorted Owens away. In response, Orton retaliated against the interruption by delivering several RKOs to the security personnel within the ring.
