There is a major update in the shooting death of a Dallas-based musician.
On March 18, rapper Markies Deandre Conway, also known as Yella Beezy, was indicted by a grand jury for capital murder in the death of fellow rapper Mo3, as reported by TopMob News from court documents.
The charges claim that Conway, aged 33, orchestrated the murder of Mo3 (whose real name is Melvin Noble), and contracted a gunman identified as Kewon Dontrell White, who is 26 years old, to fire at the rapper, based on the evidence presented in the documents.
According to court documents, there was no lawyer identified as representing Conway. TopMob News has attempted to contact White’s representatives for a statement but have yet to receive a response.
After hearing about Conway’s arrest, Nichole Williams Noble, Conway’s mother, expressed her joy with the news, posting on Facebook: “Justice for my Child!!!” (March 20)
In November 2020, a man named Noble, aged 28, was fatally shot on a Dallas freeway. The authorities claim that this happened after Noble was pursued on foot by an individual identified as White, following an encounter. It is reported that Noble sustained multiple gunshot wounds during the incident.
According to Dallas Police Sergeant Warren Mitchell, the suspect stepped out of his car and moved towards the victim. In response, the victim left his vehicle and started running southward on the freeway. The suspect, carrying a gun, started shooting multiple times at the victim, hitting him.
He went on to say, “The injured individual was taken to a nearby medical facility, where they later were confirmed dead.
During the event, another individual was unfortunately hit by gunfire as well. However, the authorities mentioned that his wounds were not severe enough to be fatal.
In December 2020, White, who is suspected of being a hitman, was taken into custody and charged with the murder of Noble. Later, in February 2021, he was officially indicted in connection to the case, as reported by NBC DFW. A different individual, Devin Maurice Brown, aged 32, was also indicted in April 2021, accused of orchestrating the murder of Mo3, according to the same source.
