Tarsier Studios, developers of Little Nightmares 1 and 2, are exploring a fresh horror realm with Reanimal. During the Future Games Show Spring Showcase, a new trailer was unveiled, providing additional insights into gameplay mechanics and demonstrating cooperative play.
The narrative follows two siblings as they venture out to locate their missing three companions in a world filled with perils. The cause behind these unfavorable events is shrouded in mystery, leaving it to you to uncover the truth and piece everything together. Some speculation will also be required, but expect to encounter various challenges along the way that need to be surmounted in order to endure. These challenges are depicted as hurdles rather than simple puzzles.
You have three island pieces to explore, which you can traverse by both land and sea. There are smaller areas to discover as well. Notably, this game supports online co-op, couch co-op, and solo play. Interestingly, when playing with a friend, the two characters will never be separated – they always move together, and there’s no split-screen option.
As an eager enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the highly-anticipated game, Reanimal, is heading our way on the Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Unfortunately, we don’t have a specific release window just yet, but rest assured, I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for any new updates to share with you all!
