Rebellion’s Atomfall has already reached 1.5 million players

Rebellion Developments has achieved a remarkable milestone with their newest release, Atomfall, an alternate-history game, which has already attracted over 1.5 million players. This makes it their most successful debut to date, as mentioned in a recent press announcement.

Over the weekend, I couldn’t resist diving into the newly launched Atomfall. The buzz around this game has been overwhelmingly positive, and it seems I’m not the only one who finds it captivating. What makes it even more appealing is that it’s accessible on a variety of platforms, from consoles to PC. But This means that not only was its launch smoother, but I – along with many others – can effortlessly give it a spin without any additional hassle. It’s a win-win situation for us gamers!

In addition to announcing their initial achievement, the Rebellion team also revealed a selection of distinctly British figures related to the game.

  • 4 million: The number of pasties players have eaten so far
  • 3.7 million: The number of kills with the cricket bat
  • 316,000: The number of players that kill the scientist right at the start.
  • 300,000: The number of cups of tea drunk so far

That last one is honestly lower than I’d have guessed, at least going off of my British colleagues.

Although I haven’t had a turn at Atomfall just yet (what with an ocean of games to conquer these days), I understand that some team members here are really into it. Kudos to Rebellion Developments for venturing into new territory, and I’m thrilled to see their innovative efforts seeming to yield positive results so far.

I’m hoping for continued success and would be interested in seeing some fresh statistics regarding the number of cups of tea consumed by this time next year.

If you’re hesitant about giving it a go, I strongly suggest checking out our Atomfall review written by Michael Hoglund. In his piece, he says that enthusiasts of Prey, Fallout, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will find their niche in Atomfall. He believes it’s absolutely worth its price tag, and now he’s eagerly anticipating the DLC release as if he were a very excited fan waiting for something to drop!

The game “Atomfall” can be played right now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, personal computers running Windows, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
