REED RICHARDS’ Shocking MCU Transforation Revealed!

The Beginning of Phase Six: Fantastic Four’s Debut

The highly anticipated movie “Fantastic Four: First Steps” is set to launch in July, marking the start of a journey towards the epic event known as “Secret Wars.” This will be the first appearance of Marvel’s original family within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Last Valentine’s Day, we got a sneak peek at the cast, showcasing their on-screen appearances in an artistic and celebratory manner. The excitement grew with the release of a trailer before the Super Bowl, offering a closer look at the team members, including Ben Grimm, who will be portrayed as stone rather than flesh. It was also confirmed that H.E.R.B.I.E., a character from the comics, will make his debut alongside the team, but more on that later.

In 2022, Reed Richards debuted in the MCU during “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” portrayed by John Krasinski in a brief, unconventional manner. However, moving forward, Pedro Pascal will assume the role as the official Reed Richards, introducing a new twist to the character due to his signature mustache.

Following the unveiling of artwork for the upcoming movie, along with rumors of leaked artwork for “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars”, fans have caught a glimpse of the Mr. Fantastic that is typical of the Marvel universe.

The Classic Look

Most fans tend to visualize Alex Ross’s portrayal of the character, which was inspired by Russell Johnson from “Gilligan’s Island” and a realistic adaptation of Jack Kirby’s original design. However, in more recent years, he has taken on various appearances, with the bearded version resembling the “Secret Wars” look for Richards, as portrayed by Chris Krasinski.

However, in the leaked Marvel sketches, Pascal swaps his mustache in certain depictions and highlights his white sideburns instead, fitting perfectly with the genius character that Marvel has been known for over the years. While the trailer may suggest a more familiar face from Pascal, the concept art underscores the fact that he is not just an accomplished actor enjoying popularity now, but he was tailor-made for this role.

The remaining task is to observe how the abilities of Mr. Fantastic will be portrayed in the movie “Multiverse of Madness.” Previously, only Krasinski’s elastic version was shown during his death scene. Historically, depicting this power accurately on screen has been quite challenging. However, this time around, there seems to be a particular focus on getting the details right for this film. It’s worth noting that the concept art could have been created before the start of production, so Pascal without a mustache might not necessarily reflect the final appearance in the movie.

This upcoming movie appears to have excelled in its portrayal of Ben Grimm and promises to showcase Sue Storm’s powers in an exciting way. Additionally, viewers can anticipate appearances by Silver Surfer, Galactus, and a post-credits reveal for Dr. Doom. The tension seems unusually high, making it surprising that this film appears to be the successor to Richard Donner’s Superman.

On July 25, 2025, “The Fantastic Four: Initial Journey” is scheduled to hit cinemas, and they are poised to play significant roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) from hereon.
