In addition to Reese’s note, Ava shared her own thoughts on losing the family’s dog.
“For 14 and a half years, unwavering love and endless tail wags were Hanky’s specialties,” she shared on her Instagram post dated August 6. “He was an exceptional family pet, always teaching us to cherish each day as the greatest. Farewell, dear Hanky, may every day be your best day in heaven.”
In addition, Jimmy (Reese’s former partner) commented a red heart emoji on Ava’s post, mentioning that he was very attentive towards them by saying, “He always looked after us well.”
