As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled to share that the dynamic duo, Mordecai and Rigby, played a significant role in propelling Cartoon Network to new heights with their groundbreaking show, “Regular Show.” This animated gem, which unfolded over nearly 250 episodes and eight seasons since its launch in 2010, took viewers on an extraordinary journey through a whimsical city park brimming with chaos and fantastical situations at every turn. Though we’re eagerly anticipating the return of the original series, Mordecai and Rigby are back in action already! The unbreakable bond between these two best friends is once again illuminated on our screens.
Lately, MAX has included fresh installments of the quirky series called “Jellystone” within its collection. If you’re not acquainted with this program featuring Yogi Bear and other prominent Hanna Barbera figures, it frequently provides humorous and outrageous reinterpretations of familiar classics. Among the latest episodes unveiled is “Crisis on Infinite Mirths,” a massive collaboration that incorporates characters from shows like Dexter’s Lab, Samurai Jack, The Powerpuff Girls, The Grim Adventures of Billy And Mandy, and many more. In this joint effort, Mordecai and Rigby resurface on the small screen for the first time in years and promptly stir up their signature chaos without delay.
Regular Show in Jellystone
In the series “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” creators J.G. Quintel and William Salyers didn’t reprise their roles as Mordecai and Rigby, but these beloved characters from Regular Show still appeared on screen. Early in the show, they were seen trying to steal a car in their new dimension, eventually participating in the battle between different universes in the climactic finale. After all Cartoon Network characters returned to their original worlds, we catch up with Mordecai and Rigby one last time before bidding them farewell. You can watch the scene below.

Regular Show’s Upcoming Sequel
Last summer, I learned that Cartoon Network was busy crafting a fresh installment to revisit the world of Mordecai, Rigby, and their park-dwelling colleagues. Titled “Regular Show: The Lost Tapes“, this new series could potentially delve into untold tales from the initial run, given its title sequence and its connection to the finale. With the original ending of Regular Show being rather conclusive, many fans speculated whether the show would introduce new leads, but it appears that Warner Bros might not be letting go of Rigby and Mordecai in this upcoming series based on the suspected title. Fortunately, the creator J.G. Quintel is slated to return as the mastermind behind this new venture.
